Beauty Bloggers, Let’s Help Each Other

What I love about being a beauty blogger is that I love being with beauty bloggers. Our community is so warm, and loving, that I hardly sense any competitive vibe, and we are all just good friends, with a common interest and passion, which is beauty.

Martha has told me about what happened to Donnarence. Donnarence is the brilliant beauty blogger at My Lucid Intervals, who juggled law school, and beauty blogging, and now is Atty. Donnarence Masilungan, a lawyer slash beauty blogger. What a beauty she is, and how I love seeing her during events :)

Going back, Donnarence’s house caught on fire last Christmas day, leaving her and her family with nothing. As this is the season of giving and love, I am asking from my readers, if you can help me spread the word about this.

Donations can be deposited to Donnarence’s account :

Donnarence M. Masilungan
BPI N. Domingo Branch
Account no: 3889 1200 52

If you would like to reach out to her and offer her words of encouragement , you can email her at mylucidintervals@gmail.com.

Donnarence, I know that you’re strong and you can go thru this. You are a pillar of strength to your family right now. We’re just right behind you. :)

BDO Credit Card Online Exclusives : Making Shopping Just A Little More Fun!

Online Exclusives Artwork

Oh, how I love credit cards. My dad trained me at a young age to love credit cards, as I learned the following things from him :

* Credit cards are great substitutes for cash – you don’t need to bring loads of cash in your wallet, and use the credit card instead. It makes you feel safe.
* Credit cards allow you to buy time, at least 30 days to pay for your purchase.
* Credit cards make it easy for you as they give you installment plans with 0% interest.

Of course, along with my dad’s beautiful marketing of credit cards, he also gave me some really important things to consider :

* Pay in FULL every month to avoid unnecessary charges
* Only purchase what you can truly afford to pay in cash at this moment.

Credit cards make me feel liberated. So armed with discipline and my love for it, I enjoy all the perks of what credit cards can offer. I remember being entrusted with a supplementary card when I was in college in case of emergencies, and now, I have my own set pf primary credit cards that I manage on my own. I just happen to be lucky that credit cards these days offer so many perks including freebies in exchange for a minimum purchase-receipt using your credit card.

One of my trusted companies when it comes to credit card is BDO. Oh, how I love BDO because they have the best perks! Whenever I have a single receipt worth P3,000, I get free food somewhere! Haha! And of course, I remember getting my deals at a lower price with their tie-up with Ensogo( Yes, I think it was Ensogo! ) , by just using my BDO Credit Card. Of all the credit cards that I have, I think I have used my BDO Credit Card the most! Continue reading

Sunlife Financial Presents A Sun Shorts Film : All In A Day

Hardly any actors seen in this film.

All characters are in shadow, and yet my eyes are red from crying right now. ( Why am I so emotional? haha! )

I encourage you to watch this as I guess everyone is staying at home this weekend. Feel the emotions. This is reality.

We have our brighter days, and there are times when the sun must come down. But definitely no reason to be afraid of anything. We can always protect our dreams, and leave behind the best memories we can.

Makeover Sunday with Noriko Imura of K-Palette Cosmetics!

483318_409286229108435_424949929_n

Last weekend, the rain surely dampened my spirits as I was unable to go to the event that I have been anticipating for months now – the K-Palette‘s bloggers’ event, with them having flown in chief makeup artist for K-Palette Japan, Noriko Imura, for the said event. Calm is the exact opposite of my state, so I was just checking out Facebook, and turns out, K-Palette’s Noriko Imura was doing makeovers in Beauty Bar Trinoma the following day!

So what I did? Prayed hard for good weather, and indeed, my prayers were answered as I was able to meet her that Sunday!

Sun Life Financial Presents A Sun Shorts Film : 1945

Hello there!

Allow me to make a viewing recommendation while we are in this really bad weather. I take it that everyone’s at home and safe? ( and I hope you are! ). While being stuck at home, my friend Tara shared this film with me, and I was thinking, what does Sun Life Financial, an insurance company, got to do with 1945?

Watching this film made my heart heavy because I would not want to live in a time like 1945. Everything screams uncertainty, and fear was just all over the place. I don’t like that feeling. But our grandparents experienced that, and I can only imagine the horrors they faced during that time. Watch on and see what I mean.

And as to what role Sun Life Financial played in this film? At the end of the film, you’ll know.

And let me know what you think.
