Beautynomics Swatchin` : MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga and Cyndi Lipglass

vivaglam_box

Ok, it’s truth time. Whatever happened to my MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga and Cyndi lipsticks?

Well, they both moved on, you see.

My Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick has moved on to my….traincase. It’s been in my professional traincase for photoshoots, as I deem it a very interesting color – perhaps to balance a smoky eye. I really love it. It’s such a keeper. It’s not for everyday use, but it’s an interesting color that is just photograph-worthy.

My Viva Glam Cyndi lipstick, on the other hand, has moved on to….my sisters. Once I placed it on our common vanity table, I could not just locate it anymore! There were some instances that I would see it inside a bag of my sister, and another instance, in another bag. Looks like Cyndi was just so wearable for everyday that my sisters have gotten it from my hands! Haha!

But then…all’s not lost, because of my new MAC Viva Glam Lipglasses, in both colors! Wanna take a peek?

MAC Cremesheen Lipstick Swatches

editedswatch

In the recent MAC In The Groove Collection, I was able to get two lipsticks of my favorite texture – cremesheen! Cremesheens glide on like cream, and give really good , lustrous, but opaque coverage on the lips. All Styled Up and Call My Bluff are part of the In The Groove Collection, but I might as well add another Cremesheen lipstick to my swatches : my favorite, Shy Girl.

Beautynomics Review : Olay Moisturizing Bar in Ultra Moisture

olay

I’m the type of person who just loves taking showers in the morning, that I would not be able to function well if I didn’t, for the day! I always like starting my day on a clean slate, with a fresh promise of a bright, and promising day with so much possibilities as soon as my eyes are open, and revived from a good night’s sleep.

For the past few weeks, what’s been making my mornings bright and nice ? I’m about to share to you right now – it’s the Olay Moisturizing Bar in the Ultra Moisture variant.

What Is The Mystery Shampoo?

mystery

Last Sunday, I read the papers, and I’ve seen a huge ad, with an unbranded, unnamed shampoo bottle with a big question mark in it, calling it the Mystery Shampoo. Last week, I’ve seen two bloggers blog about it taking the 14-day Challenge, taking a leap of faith on testing a hair product that they don’t know what it is. Well, what is the Mystery Shampoo?

Beautynomics Review : 4711 Acqua Colonia Eau de Cologne

4711 Visual_AQC English

First, let me share to you something that’s transpired in my household this week. My baby sister Sugar woke me up around 5:30 am in the morning, all showered, in her school uniform, and all ready for school. Why I woke up? I woke up to a smell. Really! She just smelled like a baby, and her smell would just spread around the room everytime she moved! With half-open eyes, I teased her, “oh so Sugar has a crush!” Sugar , with her ever sheepish smile, said “no achie, I just like smelling good every single time!”

Very, very cute!

But true, as well! Before, I would just be content with a newly-showered natural body scent, and go neutral all throughout the day, but lately ( lately means these past 4 years hahaha! ) , fragrances seem to integrate in my beauty routine. It’s the perfect finish to a perfectly made up look, and a perfect get-up – a perfect scent to add up some charm or personality. Haha!

All My Eyebrow Love!

eyebrow2

I deeply regret not having documented my beauty escapades in Japan last year, at it was the wildest beauty wonderland that I’ve ever been to! I didn’t even dare buy anything from the department stores as beauty outlets were everywhere! Big brands like Kose, Shiseido, and even SK II are sold in outlets there for a fraction of the price!

A year had passed, and my deepest regret is that I haven’t hoarded enough in Japan! Good thing that Claud, a good friend of mine recently had her vacation there, and as I chanced upon her updates on Facebook, I just asked her to hoard one thing. Only one thing – these absolutely precious Shiseido Eyebrow Pencils! I remember giving them to my co beauty bloggers as gifts from my trip there last year, and I think they loved it!

Pre-Nup Makeup With Revlon Photoready Foundation

JP and Fran happen to be one of my favorite couples in the whole wide world! I’ve seen them meet each other for the first time, and I’ve been one of those who teased and teased them ( separately! ) and I have seen their relationship blossom from friendship to something that’s worth a lifetime of commitment. As these two lovebirds are tying the knot soon, I wish them all the best!

Franny came to me during my lunchbreak to have her makeup done for the pre-nuptial photoshoot. She wanted it light, and natural looking, so I used something new in my makeup kit , makeup from the Revlon Photoready line.

My Cold Weather Fragrance : DKNY Candy Apples!

As we slowly say goodbye to the sunny weather, and make way for chilly, snuggly weather, fragrance choices also change, believe it or not!

Light scents right now just seem to be too…light. With the chilly weather, somehow, I need to feel warm, as I believe that there is such fragrance that gives me a sense of warmth.

I embrace, and say hello to cold weather by wearing my latest scent, DKNY Delicious Candy Apples in Sweet Caramel. Yes, I have my scents in very cute packaging that look like apples, that coincides with my childhood nickname, Apple. I totally love it!

What I’m Using Now : L’Oreal Revitalift Double Eye Lift

Haven’t you noticed how time flies so fast lately? How days pass on just like a blink of an eye? One minute, you are rejoicing the weekend, and before you know it, you are dreading Monday again?

Haha! Forgive me for rubbing it in. I’m turning a year older in a few weeks’ time, thus, the blues. With my birthday drawing near, I always plan ahead on something vain – my annual hair rebonding ( oh, waves be gone! ) , reuniting with my dermatologist from my long absence due to toxic work, and of course, if I can’t stall my age from adding one more, I know I can stall my age from showing – specially in my eyes!

The eyes are just the first to age, and the area in my face that I am most concerned with ( amongst alot of things ). For ages, I’ve been on the lookout for that perfect eye cream – something that would REALLY work. But the thing is, eye creams are tricky – you need to commit to them long-term until you see results. It’s a big risk, really.

With that, I am trying something new from L’Oreal, called the L’Oreal Revitalift Double Eye Lift.
