Ginnifer Goodwin is My Only Exception

ginnifer1

( photo via highstylenews.com )

I’ve always had preference for long haired styles. ( Gosh I sounded like a guy there. ) I remember someone telling me never to cut my hair short. Well, to be perfectly honest, I looked like an egghead when I had a really short boycut when I was in first year high school. Not the cut’s fault, it was actually my hair’s fault. My hair was just so thick that it poofed up big time.

Organic Beauty Love : Venus and Mars

PS-Lulur2-WM

I swear, I think I have too much bath products inside my shower!

Oops, I just thought – like right now, that’s probably why the three-tiered glass that holds the bath products inside the shower broke down! Oh no! ( true story! )

Anyways ( regrets aside, haha! ) , I’ve got my tall bottles of body washes and shampoos on one area, and on the glass holder that became one-layered instead of three ( sniff ) , I have my baby sisters’ and dad’s shampoos, and on a soap holder there, I layer tons of organic soaps. Yes, I am such an organic soaps lover.

Two of my favorite soaps in the natural beauty products arena include Venus and Mars’ two bestselling soaps, the Lulur Soap and Royal Emu Pearl.

Online Beauty Shopping : The Island Berry!

I’ve been thinking this entire month of May, on how thankful I am with the online stores we have today for we don’t need to get out of our homes ( or offices, for that matter ), to shop for our stuff, beauty stuff, that is. Just looking at the outside and knowing how hot it is outside, well, it’s such a battle to go anywhere these days! I am slowly becoming dependent with online shopping for it’s just the most convenient thing!

Thanks to Phoebe, the beauty blogger sister who is just so wild about organic beauty products, that she decided to open The Island Berry, not only to feed her passion of organic products, but also share them to all of us! Really, I know how she feels! She must be thinking that it would be quite heaven to wake up to such fragrant organic soaps, and it would make her day already!

Okay, so I was able to roadtest some of the By Nature Handmade Soaps that she was just crazily raving about. Let me tell you how I like them!

Organic Love : Jericho Dead Sea Cosmetics

Just this year, I was acquainted with two brands of Dead Sea Skin Care brands that were launched here – Mineral Flowers and AHAVA. But tell you what – it doesn’t end there. We have another brand to look into – Jericho, by Paloma Dead Sea Ltd.

Paloma Dead Sea
was the first company that was established offering Dead Sea skin care products, as early as 1982. Imagine that, it took us so long to catch the wave of the dead sea skin care craze! The miraculous and healing waters of the Dead Sea in Israel is now within our reach with these products in the market, as we do not have to take the trip there to experience it. That’s more like it!

With this, I was able to try two products by Jericho, and I shall tell you how they fared on me :

Organic Love : Mineral Flowers Dead Sea Skin Care

Beauty lovers getting their dose of water from the Dead Sea

If you ask me where I really, really want to go right now, I would have to say Israel.

Why?

The moment Mr. Kuba of Mineral Flowers let me try a drop of water from the Dead Sea, I was really, really fascinated.

It felt really oily, but he claimed that there is no trace of oil in that water. It’s just loaded with so much minerals. It felt sticky on the skin, but when mixed with hand cream, my skin turned baby-smooth, and that’s hardly possible, because I always have dry skin. It must be something special!
With that, I could almost feel myself floating on the Dead Sea, facing up, like I was on a luxurious vacation. My skin would also be on vacation mode there!

Renowned as a premium destination for health, rehabilitation, recreation and specialized spa treatments, the Dead Sea contains an extraordinary 345 grams of mineral salts per liter, with 26 different minerals and trace elements such as Magnesium, Potassium, Calcium and Bromide contained within its salts, water and mud.

With so much minerals, and even nourishing ingredients from the Dead Sea, Dead Sea skin care brands sprouted. They’re slowly emerging across the globe, and one of the brands that I have come across was Mineral Flowers.

It’s the weekend again, and I am absolutely itching to go back to Healthy Options. Why? It was brought bout my newfound love for the store full of organic goodies! Oh, I long to get more organic bath products!

Finding Love at Healthy Options

I’m too excited, that I just can’t help myself from sharing this with you!

I’m writing two reviews as of the moment about these two products ( well, make that three, but I technically count the shampoo and conditioner as one review ) that I’ve found as I was buying my supplies for my attempt to try the Master Cleanse Diet.

Yes, I’m going to to attempt to live for ten or more days of cleansing and detox! It’s gonna be tres difficult for I am such a glutton, but hey, I need to live a healthy life. Haha! I’ve got my supplies complete already, that were purchased from Healthy Options, on a fateful Saturday night. But then, as I was shopping for supplies, my eyes strayed. Strayed bigtime – this, is such a organic lover’s paradise! ( Imagine how strayed was “strayed?” I was already paying for my supplies as I was distracted to check out the rack on my left – oh, goodness, the cashier had to hold my payment as she let others pay first while she must be amused looking at me like I’m possessed! )
