What’s New : Victoria’s Secret Life is PINK Fragrance

I know everyone’s crazy about VS ( Victoria’s Secret ) scents. I’ve been aware of Victoria’s Secret scents ever since I’ve hit puberty - I deem they were the staple, fragrant, but affordable scents for highschool and college girls, exuding feminine appeal and personality depending on the variant.

But these. Look.at.these. Don’t they look so cute? The Life is PINK fragrance collection showcases three ultra sassy and girly fragrances, that starts with cute-looking bottles, and end with dreamy scents!

Total romantic? Creative genius? Free spirit?
Launching with a trio of scents, the Life is PINK fragrance
collection is a distinct and colorful expression of the PINK
girl’s dynamic personality. Inspired by key moments that
shape her world, each fragrance comes to life in a unique
scent and collectable bottle: Wish PINK is signified by a
heart; Live PINK blooms as a sunny daisy; and Hope PINK
is represented by a peace sign.

What’s New : Pond’s Age Miracle Concentrated Resurfacing Serum and Pond’s Flawless White Spots Blocking Serum

Oh, how I love serums. My name is Sophie Serum Uy. Hahaha!

Seriously, serums are just those more potent skin care products that give the skin better results ( and speedier, if I may say ) than your normal skin care products. They’re a great addition to your skin care - to your facial wash, toner, and moisturizer. It’s the usual cleanse-tone-moisturize, but you get the extra step Treat with serums and maybe topical medicine prescribed by your dermatologist.

And to be honest, I usually skip my moisturizers for serums. It’s not the best suggestion, but it’s solace for oily skinned girls who can’t bear moisturizers. Serums are supposed to be concentrated, and less greasy on the skin.

With that, Pond’s comes up with two serums from their best selling line, Age Miracle and Flawless White.

Say hello to Pond’s Age Miracle Concentrated Resurfacing Serum, and Pond’s Flawless White Spots Blocking Serum.

ageLOC: Unlocking the Secret to Ageless Skin

Nu Skin has been extremely close to my heart, and I’ve been using Nu Skin products ever since I was in highschool. Straying from it and trying other brands because of budget constraints proved more costly, as my acne worsened further, and now that I’m all healed and happy with Obagi Clenziderm, I’m now back on maintenance mode. I need mild, and gentle cleansers and water-based moisturizers. I need good serums for anti-aging and great eyecreams to salvage the stressful eyes-syndrome manifested in my peepers.

My friend Lorraine has been all excited about telling me about Nu Skin’s revolutionary new product that would be launched this July in the Philippines, called ageLOC. ageLOC is Nu Skin’s promise to take us to the fountain of youth,

Nu Skin is taking the science of anti-aging to a completely new level by studying the genetic origins of how and why we age.

Developed by Nu Skin in collaboration with leading scientists, ageLOC science is based on the discovery of internal sources of aging that contribute to an aging appearance, what Nu Skin calls age-related super markers, or arSuperMarkers.

Nu Skin’s exclusive ageLOC science targets these arSuperMarkers—the ultimate sources of aging that can influence how we age.

Based on this discovery, Nu Skin is able to identify critical arSuperMarkers called Youth Gene Clusters, which are functional groups of genes that regulate how we appear to age. Only ageLOC ’s proprietary science understands how to reset these Youth Gene Clusters to their youthful patterns of activity.

This revolutionary discovery is based upon Nu Skin’s exclusive collaborations with leading scientists around the globe, millions of dollars in development, and years of combined anti-aging and genetic research.

OF COURSE. Who am I to resist this? Resetting the Youth Gene Clusters? Targetting the source of aging? Music to my ears! I’ve been looking for a great anti-aging skin care that would help make my look youthful and well-hydrated, but still keep my skin acne-free. I know, it’s tricky. I’ve been wanting to religiously indulge myself in an anti-aging regimen, but the products on the market somehow conflict with my anti-acne maintenance. Alot of anti-aging products out there are not water-based, which makes it a problem for me. Knowing that Nu Skin products are water-based, and do not react and make my skin break out, I immediately set aside my budget for a new phone, without much regret, as Lorraine informed me that she was able to obtain two sets, and immediately purchased it from her on the spot. This might just be the answer to my problems!

Okay, let’s peek into the contents of my ageLOC Transformation Premium Package Set, okay?

Something Interesting : Heliocare Oral Sunblock

It’s the first time I’ve heard of oral sunblock. For years, all I know is that sun protection is obtained just from creams and added SPF’s from mineral makeup, and moisturizers!

Heliocare works to turn back the sun. It offers the unique properties of a natural fern extract (PLE).

Heliocare works as a potent oral antioxidant. Heliocare is antioxidants which has been shown to mop up free radicals before they damage important cellular proteins. Heliocare is taken daily. It is active within half an hour of the first dose (unlike many oral antioxidants which take months to build up sufficient levels). Also, because Heliocare is taken orally it is effective in protecting cells deep in the skin - topical antioxidants are usually ineffective in protecting cells at this level. Damage to these deeper cells is responsible for many of the signs of photoaging (e.g. wrinkles.)
