Just looking at the model for Bobbi Brown’s Rose Gold Collection gives me so much giddiness as it is totally my idea of a really fresh, day look. The makeup is simple, the shades are very feminine, it’s almost like effortless beauty!
Bobbi Brown’s Rose Gold Collection gives us the message that “Rose gold is instant prettiness.” It works great on all skin tones, and gives that youthful, pinkish ( but not too pale, just the right kind of “pink” ) glow from within. It’s absolutely refreshing, in my opinion.

Bobbi Brown Wild Rose Shimmer Brick is full of pinkish tones that will give your cheeks a pop of color. It can be used as blush ( for the deeper shades ), highlighter ( for the lighter shades ), and eyeshadow ( all the shades, I believe. )
Bobbi Brown Rose Gold Shimmer Brick is full of rose gold tones, with champagne shades, that will give you a glow from within, and is great for all skintones. This is an eyeshadow ( all shades, ma! ), highlighter, and a really light blush in one compact.
I recently had a chance to try the very famous Shimmer Bricks of Bobbi Brown, as I was wondering why alot of girls liked it so much. Look for the day!
A few weeks ago, was my uncle’s wedding. Well, he is almost as old as I am, add a few years to my age, but he’s my dad’s cousin! So he’s considered my uncle. It was a family affair, and a day wedding, so I carefully prepared my makeup and my get-up for the event.
For my makeup, now, don’t judge me – I really, really wanted to play with lighter shades, but I really feel that small eyes really look great with smoky eyed makeup. So there, I was about to sport a gold lid with a shimmery black contour, that changed last minute into a a brown smoky eyed look. Black shades nearing the lashline, gradually lightening up with deep brown, and shimmery brown as I go up my lids.
For my blush, I used Sleek Contour Kit in Medium for that added dimension, and added Bobbi Brown’s Tawny shade ( it’s an earthy shade ) on top of the contour. By then, I was looking for some shimmer in my face already, so I found my Beauty & Minerals Mineral Blush in Buff Apricot and swiped it on my cheekbones.
For my lips, well, I was quite excited to use my new shade of lipstick, which is Inglot Matte Collection AMC Lip Pencil #11. The shade is a beautiful, beautiful coral shade, that is just so me! I asked Brigitte to get the most “me” Inglot lipstick as she travelled to Dubai a month ago, and she was definitely spot on! I’m so in love with this perfect shade, and expect to see it in more of my looks!
For my outfit, well, I would need to confess to you guys that I’m getting addicted to all things related to fashion lately. I love reading fashion blogs, and I love online shopping for clothes and shoes! *somebody help me this is getting addictive!* Though I am still not fashionable enough, I think that I am slowly molding my style.
I’ve found a gem on Facebook that sells really beautiful dresses – The Florence Fling. The styles are really feminine and chic, and I feel that the styles are classic and will not get outdated at all. I can even see myself wearing their dresses 10 years from now – oh please Sophie just please don’t balloon into a bigger size!

Well, I really really enjoy formal affairs when I can dress up and do my own hair and makeup! I know it’s a tedious task to prepare, but I am loving every single moment of it!

Just last week, I was able to attend a lunch affair that marked the press launch of Estee Lauder’s newest products – possibly two of their fastest moving products as of late, being out of stock in its first release in Manila, and with a long, long waitlist! I know some Estee Lauder loyalists out there, from skin care to makeup, and I don’t doubt that these two new products will make a mark in Estee Lauder history – the new Idealist Skintone Illuminator, and Cooling Eye Gel Illuminator.
Illuminator. The word reminds me of Harry Potter commanding “lumos!” that a room suddenly earns a flicker of light to lead their way. With my HP hangover not yet over, let’s set this aside and put it into beauty terms. I just love it when I see a woman with such luminous texture, like she’s an angel. I’ve seen some of these lucky women who are blessed to have really soft, even, and radiant skin, that they glow! What constitutes a glow on the skin? Even skin. Even in terms of texture ( no scars ), and color ( with no spots, or dark areas, whatsoever ). In this day and age, women get busy. You see dark undereye circles because of their dedication to work ( and fun, after work! haha! ) . You see dark spots from their constant battle with acne, and the sun. Stress is everywhere – may they be self-inflicted, or environment-inflicted.

As MAC Cosmetics unveils the Wonder Woman Collection, it’s created quite a buzz whether on it is a hit or miss on the brand. Well, I definitely do some good points in this collection, so let me start with my review of two of their products – the Mineralize Skinfinishes and the Blush Duos!

The last installment of my MAC Venomous Villains Collection Review is Dr. Facilier. To be totally honest, this is my least favorite character in the collection, because well, I don’t really know him! Googling him gave me the information that he is the voodoo master from The Princess and the Frog. I think that it’s been too long that Disney released this cartoon adaptation of the fairytale-book classic, coz I loved it from my books! So with that, I’ve just lost myself in classic Disney cartoons such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and somewhat 101 Dalmatians ( this is relatively new to the former two ). Anyway, on to my review!
