Urban Decay Hearts NYC Palette

Getting the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette was the best decision, ever, as it had loads of very versatile and fun shades, and yet, it manages to make my clients swoon as I show them the pop up images! But now, Urban Decay has come up with another one – and I am needing this so badly!

The Urban Decay Hearts NYC Palette is a tribute to the most celebrated city – New York. Though there are alot of similar shades from my Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette, it would really be fun collecting this one! This new palette is more purplish-themed, as I may dub, Urban Decay’s fall collection ( maybe! haha! ). Lotsa colors perfect for dark smoky eyes. Love it!

Fall Beauty : NARS Fall Palettes in Beautiful Life and Only You

This fall, NARS Cosmetics introduces two very useful palettes, and they are coupled with a new packaging – a compact NARS-logo zippered case. Very cute, isn’t it? I personally think that they know how to play with their very versatile logo and work around with modern packaging while retaining its timelessness and the iconic vibe.

The new palettes, wonderfully named Beautiful Life, and Only You ( sounds like these names came from the movies! ), include two signature NARS cheek products chosen to complement the lips or eyes – whether deep or sultry, or light and fresh.

Beautiful Life-Low Res

Beautiful Life is a very versatile feminine quad, with its playing with pinks, peaches, and neutrals. I personally love this!

Because Mommies Need Their Beauty Fix Too

I have my mom to be thankful for my being such a beauty lover. She owned a salon when I was a little kid, and with her being my ultimate inspiration, I wanted to be like her one day, and thus, fast forward to the present day, I make it a point to shower her with so much cosmetics, and beauty products that she doesn’t even need to buy them ( well, just the occasional body wash products that she’s crazy about! )

Girls are girls, and girls like all things beautiful, and make them look and feel beautiful. I’m so sure that your mom will love getting a beauty loot this coming Sunday, Mother’s Day, so here are suggestions from Elianto,

Elianto’s Eyeshadow Set for mom’s has four delectable eyeshadow shades with a spring inspired refillable palette. Comes with elianto’s bestselling Rose Cleansing Tissue – all packed in a metallic satin cosmetic bag. Definitely eye catching for this mother’s day! Available at P699.

Daughter Sophie’s Note : This is for the mom who’s experimental about makeup, or the mom who wears regularly, perhaps for work. This is great, because you can always remind your moms at the end of the day to remove their makeup with the Rose Cleansing Tissue, before retiring to bed.

Beautynomics Review : MAC Cosmetics Pret a Papier Collection

Boy, this must be one of my favorite collections so far. When I received some items from the latest MAC Collection, namely Pret a Papier, one look at the shades, and bam. I felt that MAC just solidified the orange revolution. This collection will surely make you think twice of getting another pink lipstick again, and would really make you want to try an orange one!

Okay, let’s make a run thru of each of the items I have over here :

Beauty Lookbook : Smoky Eyes and Nude Lips

When I went gaga over MAC Give Me Liberty of London‘s lipsticks, right after roadtesting the very bold Petals and Peacocks, I could not resist, and asked my friend Smile, who resided in Hong Kong to get me two more lipsticks from that certain collection, mainly because I loved the cremesheen and amplified cream formulas. She was able to get me two more – MAC Lipstick in Peachstock, and in Blooming Lovely. I was about to ask her to get me the shade in Ever Hip, but it was too late already. Oh well!

Beauty Lookbook : Alice in Wonderland Inspired Look

These are one of the days wherein I feel so bored, but so inspired ( oh yeah, they work well together in my system! haha! ) , that I just thought I’d have some fun with my new Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette. One word – love. Oh, make that two – Love, love. Three? Love, love, love! Hahaha!

Anyway, I’ve decided to go colorful this time, and play with the vivid colors included in the palette,

Beauty Candy : My Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette

Some things are never too late.

How can I ever get mad at this absolutely adorable Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette, even if it knocked on my door a month late?

Absolutely not. I can only be thankful, and cherish that it’s finally home, with me!

Beautynomics Review : Avon Smooth Mineral Eyeshadow

I must admit that I only keep a small collection of eyeshadows. I don’t like collecting too much – I think I’m more obsessed with a flawless canvass, and recently, beautiful cheeks. But of course, staple shades would always be on my vanity table. I’m a schizo when it comes to eyeshadows – sometimes I want them soft focus, and feminine, but sometimes I want them ultra pigmented, that gives instant color at first swipe. What I don’t like? Color that’s too diluted, texture too powdery, or color just won’t show up no matter how much you pack colors on your lids.

With my recent love for playing and experimenting with eyeshadows, I have tried Avon Smooth Mineral Eyeshadow.

Superfine powder pigments blend like a dream. Use one or layer, go sheer or smoky. Whisper-soft, air-light. Natural radiance, pure luxury.

Loose eyeshadow. Using loose mineral eyeshadows must entail a very careful application, for once powder falls on unwanted places ( like your undereyes ) , they are very hard to remove. A generous dusting of loose powder under the eyes is most recommended prior to playing with loose mineral eyeshadows. Let the excess powder fall of there. Sweep them away later.

For my last installment of the MAC Spring Colour Forecast, I now bring you numero quatro with yellow and gold shades. Reminds me of golden sunshine and bronze sultry shades of summer. Just the way I like it.

MAC Spring Colour Forecast 3 : Plum and Burgundy

With my third installment of the MAC Spring Colour Forecast, I give you plum and burgundy shades!

Looking at the picture, do you see something different? Look closer, look closer.

Okay, MAC has a totally revamped eyeshadow quad packaging! The new eyeshadow quad looks very sleek compared to the old one, but the old one, with its textured plastic is actually mess-free, as compared to the new eyeshadow quad packaging. Nonetheless, I’m still after the color payoff of the quads.

On to my review,
