TRUE LOVE Alert : Kiss My Face Body Shower Gel & Foaming Baths

True love only comes once in one’s life. And Kiss My Face is one true love that I’ve never forgotten about!

From the moment I tried their Whenever, Wherever Conditioner, and Exhilaration Body Wash roughly a year ago, I knew this brand was special. Obsessively organic, and most of all, aromatherapeutic ( oh, oh, how I LOVE that term! )

Keeping Oneself Beautiful While Traveling is a TOP Priority Part 2

Now that I’ve revealed the insides of my toiletry kit ( or big beauty kit, that is, ) let me let you peek in my makeup kit! This is the kit that I’d be bringing around me all the time. Singapore is a beautiful city, and the night life is said to be just wonderful and glamorous- and I am definitely going to glam myself up Friday night to go partying with my classmates from highschool whom I am meeting up! ( They’re working there already ).

The insides of my makeup kit :

Elizabeth Arden Intervene Moisture Eye Cream

They say that eye eyes are the first ones to age, and I agree, and add that I believe that it is the most delicate part of the face. I mean, my skin is all oily ( like a whole gasoline station’s worth of contents ), but whenever I’d wash my face, I could always feel my lid area and undereye area significantly dry, and it bothers me. To add to the problem, I also have a penchant of sleeping late, so I’ve had dark undereye circles for sometime, which is always successfully camouflaged by makeup. So I said to myself, it’s about time to use an eye cream to save my face!

I was given a chance to try the Elizabeth Arden Intervene Moisture Eye Cream. An anti-aging procrastinator like me loves things like these, as it is equipped with Biodormin technology, that helps minimize the look of existing lines and dark circles as it noticeably firms and smooths skin’s appearance. I didn’t have lines yet, and I never would want them in my life, so this is a relief! Continue reading

The Beautynomist Gets a Beauty Loot!

It’s a bit late, but I have found this in my camera a week ago. The story goes , was that last June, as I celebrated my twenty-something birthday, I received this great beauty loot from my girlfriends. I loved it so much, that I used them as subjects as practice using my new DSLR camera I got. The picture turned out dark, even if it was a sunny day, but oh well, I hope to improve next time! Haha!

Here’s the contents of my beauty loot :

all’ Olio di Oliva Olive Oil Meditteraneo Mousse da Bago ( Bath Foam )
Let me just share what it said on the label,

Pick of the Week : Skinceuticals Affect Daily SPF 20

skinceuticals affect sunscreen I’ve been avoiding sunscreens for like, forever. Why ? First, because I feel that they’re icky and sticky. Second, I feel that they would make my skin oilier. Third, they don’t jive well with makeup. Either they don’t glide well, or I get this white cast on my picture when I wear sunscreen. All those thoughts banished from my memory effective a week ago, the moment I tried Skinceuticals Affect Daily SPF 20.

I’ve opted buying moisturizers with sunscreen with the hope of skipping applying sunscreen - I’ve been doing this for ages. When the PR for Skinceuticals contacted me for a review for Melanoma May, I kept an open mind despite my initial thoughts about wearing sunscreen. Heck, I only wear sunscreen on the face when I go to the beach, when it is most crucial, and it didn’t feel good!

Jane Iredale Liquid Eyeliner

jane iredale liquid eyeliner
With my entry into the mineral makeup addicts bandwagon more than a year ago, almost all of my cosmetics have been mineral in nature. Jane Iredale is one of the posh brands of mineral makeup that makes you feel like a queen - the gold packaging just takes my breath away. Aside from the packaging ( shucks, a shallow me is surfacing haha! ), the quality is nothing short of great, too. Their foundations are superb, but I’m talking about something else right now - and it’s their liquid eyeliner.

What I love most about mineral eyeliners are their incredible staying power. I use Bare Escentuals Weather Everything Liner Sealant to seal my lashlines to perfection and dance the night away without any worries. Sometimes though, it becomes tedious as I mix mineral powder and sealant. Sometimes, I am in a hurry that I need something quicker and easier to apply- just like the traditional liquid eyeliner.

Johnson’s Baby Bath - I Likey!

johnson baby bathWho says Johnson’s baby baths are only for babies?

I just wanna say that I’ll never ever tire of Johnson’s Baby Bath - in the blue variant.
This gives me the squeaky clean feel, with the relaxing, refreshing feeling of being a baby! The rich lather cleans me up so good, and the fragrance is so gentle that it reminds you on how much you love sniffing and smelling babies - they’re universally fragrant, no matter how hard they try not to. Haha!

The baby scent of this bath gel - that everyone just loves, just about what makes it a sure winner.

Beautynomics Back and My Blissoma Stress Relief Serum Experience!

blissomaOkay, I really really apologize for the downtime of my blog that I have been used to updating daily. Nights seem so empty when I could not blog because of my damned phone line! GRRR!! PLDT, I will come to haunt you! You better bring back my phone line ASAP, because my dialup is making my hair white! I’ve given up on PLDT, and right now, it’s 7pm, I camped in the office just to blog. See , I love all of you so much to blog today! Hihi!

Anyway, I received my samples from the United States just a week ago ( thus, the delayed reviews, sorry companies! ), and one remarkable product that I have received is the Blissoma Stress Relief Serum.

Now, this product can be bought at Iriestar.com, that offers organic, natural bath and body, as well as aromatherapy products that calm the mind, and soothe the senses.I am such a fan of aromatherapy products because the moment I inhale these divine scents, they send waves of relaxation all over my stressed state. I must be the stress siren for all time - ( thus, I need to improve my time management skills? LOL!) Continue reading

Kerastase Oleo Relax Anti-Frizz Serum

This week is “favorite products” week. In the name of styling products, Kerastase Oleo Relax Anti-Frizz Serum is numero uno for me!

Kerastase is one of those brands wherein you don’t mind spending more because you know the results you will get from using their products will be more than satisfactory. It’s one of those high-end brands which doesn’t disappoint you why they charge higher. In Economics, products like these don’t adopt “price differentiation” and compete in terms of prices. Kerastase adopts a quality-related differentiation. Their prices are higher than the normal hair care brand, but they offer a “premium” with Recherche Avancee ( high technology based research straight from their labs in Paris ) for their hair care products.
