Roughly about a month ago, I never loved jeans. I even started buying more shorts, and dresses, as jeans are just my work clothes. With Levi’s leading me to my discovery that perfect jeans do exist, I’ve started investing by shopping for my second pair, and one for my mom, further converting her into the perfect jeans paradigm. You have to believe it because I say so! Hahaha!

Outfits can be plain, and I think that plain outfits are the best investments, as you don’t need to buy alot, and you can just spice them up with accessories, depending on your mood. Of course, accessories that are reasonably priced as fashion trends come and go. With that, I’m very happy with my Jean & Rosz accessories.

Summer is well pronounced in our country, as the heat continues to discourage us from wearing makeup!

Yay, yay, yay, yay!

What a way to start the week – announcing our big winner for our Minute Maid Contest, sending her off to beauty school!

I’m so excited for the winner for I simply enjoyed my experience in makeup school. With my short course in LCI, I had so much fun, and learned the much needed basics. It really helps to have formal training in makeup. You’d get to know which is right, or wrong, and then you can all break the rules once you’ve mastered them.

With my 6 month course in Singapore, on the other hand, it was all about practice and discipline. It took me forever to master eyebrows, and a few crying fits ( I can be so emotional when frustrated LOL ), but that 6 months just proved that practice is important – so I encourage each and everyone to brush up your makeup skills, and practice what you’ve learned – you’ll become rusty, if you don’t! Promise!

Hi everyone!

At long last, weekend is here! How is your weekend so far?

I’m in such a high since I’ve finally watched the much awaited Tim Burton adaptation of Alice in Wonderland. It was such a good movie, and I loved the makeup artistry showcased there ( check the two queens, and the Mad Matter’s makeup! ) Don’t you think Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska was a younger version of Gwyneth Paltrow? Anyway, I shall have fun this weekend playing with makeup and will try to replicate some of the looks. Wish me luck!
