I hope the Shu Uemura x Karl Lagerfeld Collection are still in stores, or at least, sold online! I heard they were still available in Duty Free!

I got this last December, but with my super crazed up schedule, I only got the chance to fully enjoy and check this lipstick out this January, and it is just soooo fabulous!

Shu Uemura x Karl Lagerfeld Lipstick in Celebrity Beige is that bright peach nude shade that glides on glossily on the lips, and give it a few swipes and you get good, enough coverage already. I know, I know! I wasn’t able to blog so much last month because of my crazy days, but it didn’t mean that my passion for beauty has come to a halt. Never! I am now frantically blogging to share with you one of my best finds this 2012, because this limited edition will only be until January 4!

Shu Uemura has claimed 2012, with its hit collections, and the biggest one must be their holiday collection, collaborating with THE Karl Lagerfeld. I fondly called them Mon Shu makeup, because of the really cute cartoon, and new friend of mine, Mon Shu!

I failed to share with you ( so sorry, will never happen again! ) my shopping spree last month, as I was really so stressed, and I thought I deserved a good reward for December, and within ten minutes of checking out the beautiful Mon Shu stuff at my favorite Shu Uemura store at Rockwell Powerplant, here’s my loot! In the sea of Shu Uemura lipsticks here, what would you want to choose?

I like matte. Long-wearing matte. But with my issue with matte lipsticks getting tight on my lips and eventually flaking from dryness, I’ve been trying to steer away from matte lipsticks.

Thank you to Shu Uemura, that they have created the perfect formula for the perfect matte lipstick! It’s matte, it glides effortlessly on the lips ( no tugging, ma! ), it stays on forever, and last but not the least…it.does.not.dry.out.the.lips! Heavensent!

Last Saturday was an ideal Saturday night for me as I was able to bond with my beauty blogger friends over a lovely dinner at La Boheme located inside the really posh Picasso Residences in Makati. An intimate, almost dim-lit setting dinner created such perfect mood to talk the night away, just smile, and let the weekend give you the rewards for working so hard the entire week. The event was sponsored by Shu Uemura, that had something interesting to introduce to us that night.

With the ever tireless Shu Uemura team working that entire day, orienting VIP customers, press, and bloggers ( for the nightcap! ) about the new product, they were surely looking confident about the new product they were launching. And I know, that they have every reason to be, because I was simply wowed that night.

word, to chocolate lovers.

I’d be totally honest with you that I’m not really a big lover of chocolates. I do like them though! Haha I have my chosen favorites ( Royce and Crunch, primarily ) , but I do have friends who have this ultimate, sky-high love for chocolates that I see their eyes sparkle with the mention of it. They live for it, and it is such indulgence for them.

Karl Lagerfeld, the globally admired fashion legend collaborates with beauty brand Shu Uemura for the Shu Uemura Holiday Collection. Even this early, I’m sure that both the beauty, and the fashion world are very excited, wanting to get their hands on such precious limited edition items! Ask me if I am, I am definitely giddy about this!

It’s been quite a busy season for me with my day job, and Charm ( watch out! new surprises to be announced soon! ) that I wake up pretty early, shower, and post-base makeup preparation, do my makeup inside the car! That brings me to the topic about portability of makeup products – I do have my favorite, bulky palettes proudly displayed at home, but within that palette exists my favorite shades that I wish I could just bring with me inside my bag in case of emergencies that require dolling up!
