I’m gonna make this really quick again, as Nivea products are so not difficult to review. I usually use them for a few days, and just come up with one sentence. I believe that they are sooo..no-nonsense and straightforward when it comes to their product benefits! I, for one, are a big fan of their sun products. Now comes something that’s been well thought of, I’m amazed with the product development team of Nivea – they are geniuses that they know how we want sun protection for the body, without the ickiness of a sunblock product that feels like cream. I mean, yeah, I apply sunblock on my face and my body obligingly whenever I know I’d be basking under the sun, but for everyday, sometimes I wish I could but I just couldn’t handle that I’m applying something creamy on my skin. As summer is my favorite time of the year, I just feel so happy to be near at sea. I can even feel that it’s summer year round in my heart as my dives have been more frequent. Just recently, I have been awakened to the world of intensive body care, because I woke up with that thought planted in my head. No, I’m kidding.

Ever since I was influenced by my friend Janice, and tried whitening body treatments at Ellen’s Aesthetic Center ( I shall tell you more about it next time! ), I was really enlightened in the fact that I should be taking care of my body – not just the face, but my body as well. I’m that kind of girl who just uses body wash and enjoys dry skin, but this time, I was given the chance to see what I have actually done to myself – dry skin all over, and some occasional uneven skin tone brought about by going to the beach and just letting my color fade away, well, just stopping to see all of this did not give me a good feeling. Thus, I am undergoing some treatments that seek out to even out my skin tone and all that.

Anyway, remember how phobic I am with lotions? Yes, I still am, specially with those really thick, gooey moisturizers. I am still unable to sacrifice my sanity for those. I am thanking God right now that there are more bearable body lotions in the market that are less greasy, less fragrant ( I might be fond of scent-y body washes but I am not too much with lotions- but lemongrass and lavender might be an exception haha! ), and with maximum moisturizing effects. Yes, just like my past posts, I have always been seeking products that work like magic, an impossible person I am to please (haha!) and I’m glad that I have found my miracle body lotion in Nivea Express Hydration Body Lotion.

I know, I know, I shouldn’t be posting about something about the beach now, as we’ve just survived one of the more challenging and hatest rain-filled weekends this year. But then, with the chilly weather, and wet season ( not my favorite season, I swear ), let’s try to daydream a little, and warp into the eternal sunshine zone to keep ourselves bright and shiny during this weather! Because all I wanna do..is dream, dream, dream dream!

As I was not quite done storytelling about my recent Boracay trip, I’m going to tell you more about it now.

With a rainy weekend during our beach trip, we were still blessed with days of warm sunshine, and the weather was even cooperative to make me gain a tan! Oh, I haven’t been tanned for the longest time, and I’ve been noticing that I was getting paler by the minute. So I told myself, I’m going back to Manila all bronzed up. No buts!

My favorite friends that I bring along with me during beach trips must be Nivea products, specifically their sun sprays and sunblock.
