
Whenever I do roadtest foundations, I usually really take my time to see that it’s not just a one-time thing, or it will disappoint me after 4-5 applications. I mean, investing in a bottle of liquid foundation, or a compact for pressed powder is not exactly cheap, so I take my time reviewing just to make sure that the effects are consistent and I can give my readers the best review possible for it.
I was given a chance to try two of Lancome’s really promising foundations – one in liquid, and one in pressed form. It was just perfect because I have really oily skin and God knows how it will slide off if I don’t set the liquid foundation application with a powder-based one.
The first product, of course, would be the Lancome Maqui Blanc Miracle Brightening Creator Fluid Foundation. Liquid is applied first on the face prior to setting it with powder, so I am reviewing it first.
Lancome Maqui Blanc Miracle Natural Brightening Creator Liquid Foundation is described as a mineral-rich formula – gentle, oil-free, and non-comedogenic. It neutralizes yellowness, and recreates instantly a healthy look and brightening the face. It is formulated for Asian skin ( oh yay! ), and on benefits side, it has SPF 26/PA++, and improves skin clarity from within. While I am not banking on the skin care benefits of makeup ( I feel that makeup is makeup, skin care is skin care, ) I would like to review it as makeup – on how it fares on the skin, and recreates beautiful skin.
