New For Fall : Estee Lauder Pure Color Five Eyeshadow Palette in Violet Underground

Violet_Underground_Model_shot_expires_Dec_2012

Introducing a new multi-dimensional, limited edition trend collection for 2012, Estée Lauder Pure Color Violet Underground. Inspired by multiple cultures, styles and textures, this collection is the ultimate fusion of high style and street chic. The makeup in Pure Color Violet Underground takes glam rock to a new dimension with a fantastical aesthetic revolution of deep, vibrant violet and fuchsia tones.

Estée Lauder translates the drama of underground style fused with the luxury of couture onto eyes and lips saturated in a jewel-toned palette. Cognac and bordeaux combined with neon brights in scarlet and crimson create a mysterious palette rich in sensuality. Pure Color Violet Underground uses contrasting high lacquered intensified pigments and matte hues to create rich dramatic dimension. Together the strong pigments collide against a beautifully radiant satin complexion to give the overall look a modern yet dramatic high-fashion feel that any woman can try.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month : Believe in a World Without Breast Cancer

ELC 2012 BCA Campaign (PR Visual)

I know nothing about breast cancer. Really.

I don’t have anyone in my family who has had that battle with it, neither do I have any relatives who suffered from it. I don’t have anyone in my immediate circle who has it, who had it, and who battled with it.

But that doesn’t mean that I am not affected.

This is about loss. This is about suffering. This is about our loved ones, and ourselves. No one is safe from it, it’s a random twist of fate to anyone. It’s a matter of life and death, and I care about it. I care about my loved ones. We only live once, and I am determined to cherish my loved ones for as long as I can, be with them as long as I can, and spend more time with them, if I could be able to make that choice.

God bless Evelyn H. Lauder of the Estee Lauder Group of Companies, who has spearheaded, and first launched the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign on 1992. During that time, 44,000 women in the US were dying from breast cancer, and the condition was something not widely talked about. It was a curse to be suffered alone, no support groups were present at that time. Evelyn Lauder pushed, and pushed to spread awareness about breast cancer, and stress that early detection can save lives. All throughout Evelyn Lauder’s life, until she passed away last November, she used her place in society, being a Lauder, to make breast cancer awareness a worthy cause, and aimed to raise funds for research to find the cure, and prevention for breast cancer.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Will Make Me Look Younger On My Next Birthday!

image003 (1)

my new addition to my serum collection

Serums. I have plenty of them. Reason? It’s because my skin chooses serums for nourishment over moisturizers and creamy products. My skin is so oily that it can only rely on serum for hydration, anti-acne, anti-aging, anti-pigmentation, and salvation. I’m so addicted with serums that I read through so much literature and research every single one that I could come across with.

I’ve heard so much raves about Estee Lauder‘s skin care, and how amazing it is in terms of anti-aging. With my really oily skin, I really wanted to be a fan of anti-aging skin care though I honestly could not indulge in it as most anti-aging products in the market are cream-based, and might clog my pores and cause more breakouts in my acne-prone skin. Needless to say, anti-acne is my priority now, though I really want to keep my skin young as long as I can. Estee Lauder’s anti-aging skin care samples given to me by the company were passed on to my dad ( yes, lucky him! ), who loves Estee Lauder’s Time Zone Night Anti-Line/Wrinkle Creme to bits. People compliment on how he looked younger when he religiously used it. Oh wow, lucky him, right?

Now, Estee Lauder seem to have listened to my plea of grease-less anti-aging with the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Serum. Oh yes, a serum for anti-aging. I’ve read up on the benefits, and the promises are just something that I’d like to hold on to – Continue reading

What’s New : Estee Lauder Idealist Skintone Illuminator and Estee Lauder Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator

Estee Lauder’s new releases

Just last week, I was able to attend a lunch affair that marked the press launch of Estee Lauder’s newest products – possibly two of their fastest moving products as of late, being out of stock in its first release in Manila, and with a long, long waitlist! I know some Estee Lauder loyalists out there, from skin care to makeup, and I don’t doubt that these two new products will make a mark in Estee Lauder history – the new Idealist Skintone Illuminator, and Cooling Eye Gel Illuminator.

Illuminator. The word reminds me of Harry Potter commanding “lumos!” that a room suddenly earns a flicker of light to lead their way. With my HP hangover not yet over, let’s set this aside and put it into beauty terms. I just love it when I see a woman with such luminous texture, like she’s an angel. I’ve seen some of these lucky women who are blessed to have really soft, even, and radiant skin, that they glow! What constitutes a glow on the skin? Even skin. Even in terms of texture ( no scars ), and color ( with no spots, or dark areas, whatsoever ). In this day and age, women get busy. You see dark undereye circles because of their dedication to work ( and fun, after work! haha! ) . You see dark spots from their constant battle with acne, and the sun. Stress is everywhere – may they be self-inflicted, or environment-inflicted.

What’s New : Estee Lauder Time Zone Anti-Line/Wrinkle Creme

TimeZoneNight_product_expJuly2011

Estee Lauder now introduces a revolutionary night cream that will turn back time. As we age, the more yearning we have for our past selves – teenager selves who had really good, soft, and firm skin. I thank God for the awesome technology that we have now, that we are able to retard aging, at least physically, with this product. The Estee Lauder Time Zone Anti-Line/Wrinkle Creme promises just to do that, or stall a little longer on our still-good skin.
