I’ve always had preference for long haired styles. ( Gosh I sounded like a guy there. ) I remember someone telling me never to cut my hair short. Well, to be perfectly honest, I looked like an egghead when I had a really short boycut when I was in first year high school. Not the cut’s fault, it was actually my hair’s fault. My hair was just so thick that it poofed up big time.

who can ever forget this scene? Tell me!!!!
Going back to my point, Ginnifer Goodwin is my only exception. She just rocks the pixie cut so much that she is just my super girl crush! Her beauty is just so unique, that it captivates me! ( ok, I sound like a guy again ) I remember crying buckets over the last scene of the movie He’s Just Not Into You, when Justin Long told her “You are my exception.” ( Sample Room co-founder Katz can attest to that, she was with me inside the movie house in Singapore and I am teased for my entire lifetime because of this hahaha! ) He’s Just Not Into You must be one of my favorite movies of all time, because of the line, “You are my exception.”
In a world of rules, wouldn’t you want to be someone’s exception?
Sigh.
So I think that movie was just years ago ( 4 years? my Singapore life was just like a dream away, I wish I could just go back there and live for a year or so, still ) , and imagine my glee when a friend introduced me to Once Upon A Time, a TV series in the US about a world of fairy tale characters transported to the the world we live in by a curse by the Evil Queen. It’s quite interesting – nothing short of juvenile, and pretty much reminds me of my wonderful childhood when I cherished fairy tales with all my heart. I can be such a dreamer. Ginnifer Goodwin plays the main protagonist in the series, being Snow White, and his real-life boyfriend Josh Dallas is Prince Charming. I find it so cute that they call each other “Snow,” and “Charming.” Maybe one day I’d name my daughter Snow. I really recommend this series to everyone, as not only it takes you back to your childhood with the wonderful fairy tale characters, it also helps you see these fairy tale characters in a more realistic, real-world way. The fairy tale characters, trapped in Storybrook ( the name of the town is too cute! ), also encounter real-life situations, making us see that life is not perfect, but also reminds us that happiness is a choice. If you want to be happy, you have to work for it, and not just wait for it.

Ginnifer as Snow, and real-life beau Josh Dallas as Charming
So whenever I watch Ginnifer Goodwin on screen, I always admire her flawless skin ( oh, you should see her as Snow White, my gosh, she is flawless! ), her really nice eyebrows, as I enjoy her acting and how she delivers her lines. I’m really a fangirl. Photos-wise, I concur that she can really make the pixie cut turn from girl-next-door cute to edgy, sexy!As I do not have plans of having a pixie cut, she remains my inspiration! Ginnifer Goodwin also happens to be a drugstore-beauty-shopper type, being super into extra virgin organic coconut oil, in which she pretty much uses in everything – shaving, conditioner, and washing her face. She even makes her own shampoo – using castille soap, olive oil, and coconut milk. Wow, right? I have actually never thought of making my own shampoo!
Ginnifer, if ever the world turns over and you get to read this, you are my it girl for 2013!

I’ve had a crush on Justin Long because of that movie! Haha! And I find Ginnifer really pretty too. I watched Something Borrowed because of her.
She is gorgeous on that first photo! She totally rock the pixie cut. I’ve been wanting to have that hairstyle but my hair looks different. And I have a hard time on some days when I just like to wear a t-shirt, i don’t want to look like a boy.
It’s been forever since I had a short hair.
