Oh my goodness. If you’ve seen me tame down a little bit ( juuuust a little bit! ) on my MAC addiction for the past few years, this is the first time that I’ve hyperventilated, and got really excited ( to the moon! ) as I saw the visuals for MAC Cosmetics The Stylish Brow Collection.
I love my eyebrows. So much. I used to stay after my formal classes in makeup in Singapore to practice shaping and drawing eyebrows until I perfected it, and I am just so obsessed with it. I believe that it frames the face, and you can go bare-faced for all you want for the day, but the eyebrows always need to be perfectly shaped, whether it is just naturally shaded for that effortless, polished look for a simple day, or that well-defined, elegant look for night time. Brows are everything. Repeat after me. You’ll thank me next time when you finally realize it! I feel so naked without eyebrow makeup. Really.

Brow powders? Golden. They are golden. I need them so much! They are the brow products that give soft, and natural definition to the eyebrows. Oh my gosh. I used to remember before, when I was studying makeup in Singapore, when I kinda overplucked my eyebrows. Kinda their standards there – really thin eyebrows. My skin was just so oily that no product stayed on my eyebrows, and I was desperate. I knew in my heart that my trusty ‘ol MAC Fluidline in Dipdown stays on my eyelids forever. Soo….what I did was use my eyebrow brush, get some MAC Fluidline , and draw my eyebrows! And it worked! My brows look perfectly defined! This product would need some really used-to-doing-eyebrow-makeup hands though, as this can pass of as an eyeliner so you can’t use too much product! My tip would be get some product on the brush, then lightly line at the back of your hand to remove too much product if it’s too harsh, then with the “remains” in the brush, start drawing your eyebrows with it. It’s better to start with a small amount rather than having to erase your eyebrow makeup.
Oh. I AM SO GETTING THIS! In Dirty Blonde! I just know, that this will have fabulous lasting power!!!!

For those who are into brow pencils, then these look great! The shades look really forgiving. I still say the same – try drawing at the back of your hand first to gauge on how intense the color is prior to proceeding to your eyebrows!

Oh my goodness!!!! Ask me when they will be available in counters? This February!!! They’re limited edition, so I really suggest to plan out your weekends amongst these malls – MOA, TriNoma, Glorietta, Shangri-la, and even Powerplant so you can try to “drop by” and check if they will be available already! I’m definitely going to be one of those on the lookout! I’m looking at the Brow Duo, as I really use powder ever since I started doing makeup, and the Brow Fluidline Gel Creme, as I would want to play with it.
