In the sea of Shu Uemura lipsticks here, what would you want to choose?
I like matte. Long-wearing matte. But with my issue with matte lipsticks getting tight on my lips and eventually flaking from dryness, I’ve been trying to steer away from matte lipsticks.
Thank you to Shu Uemura, that they have created the perfect formula for the perfect matte lipstick! It’s matte, it glides effortlessly on the lips ( no tugging, ma! ), it stays on forever, and last but not the least…it.does.not.dry.out.the.lips! Heavensent!
So now, I have a new favorite Shu Uemura lipstick, and I also have a new favorite matte lipstick. It’s M PK 348, and Patrick Alcober of Shu Uemura calls it the perfect bridal pink lipstick. Look at me wear it. Look at me so happy wearing it!

Just to share, I wore that really pretty pink lip on my way to another event, which involved dancing. Well, I didn’t dance, but I felt so active, and I indulged myself at the buffet! Then, I would just see friends, and be surprised, that they would compliment my lip color, that they love it! I was surprised because I was never that kind of girl who wears statement, distinct colors, as I love my lips subdued. But this is subdued, but this is beautiful, that must have caught their attention. I also noticed, that by the end of the night, my lip color was still very much in tact! Oh, I have more reason to love you!
I highly recommend the quality of Shu Uemura’s Rouge Unlimited Supreme Matte lipsticks, as the staying power is really impressive, the color selections are limited, but great nonetheless, and it does not dry out the lips. This is quite a winner in my book!

I’ve fallen in love with this lipstick! I got the mon shu red shade from the Karl Lagerfeld collection and it’s soo gorgeous! I was so impressed by how it lasted for so many hours even after eating. I am definitely getting more shades in the future!
