Remember my post about the raveworthy Kerastase Elixir Ultime?
As it turned out, I wasn’t the only one crazy about it. The entire world was, and still is crazy about it. Proof? 1 Elixir is sold every two minutes in the world, and Elixir Ultime has won more than thirty international awards! Can this get any better?
Oh yes it definitely can! Elixir Ultime, the classic gold variant, turned out to have three more sisters!

Elixir Ultime Grand Crus is a blend of Elixir Ultime Oleo-Complex’s award winning formula, with rare and precious hair beautifying extracts of the highest quality. It is aptly named “Grand Crus,” as in France, the term is used to call the best wines and champagnes there. These three additional variants of Elixir Ultime have different scents, and are targeted for different hair types :

Grand Cru Elixir Ultime Millenium Rose, for fine and sensitized hair
This variant is rich in Vitamin E that protects fine hair against damaging UV radicals. The formula is also very light that won’t weigh down hair. ( Isn’t that perfect for those who would want to try serums and have fine hair? Now, you won’t need to be afraid of serums! ). Fresh, delicate, and floral, are terms to describe the scent.

Grand Cru Elixir Ultime Immortal Moringa, for damaged hair
This variant, summarized in one word, must be “intense.” Intense levels of vitamins, and nutrients for a successful hair rescue. Intense, but light. The scent of this variant is woody-oriental, and somewhat citrus.

Grand Cru Elixir Ultime Imperial Tea, for colour-treated hair.
This variant is infused with the highest concentrations of antioxidants. Aside from that, white tea is also an ingredient that helps in enhancing the true depth of color. This is all antioxidant action for the hair, as it needs protecting the hair fibre, making it reflect, and looking radiant. The scent here is floral, and some fruity notes.
I love the new variants, as it has successfully addressed common hair concerns! Serums/hair oils are just plain love, and in my opinion, one of the greatest inventions in hair care history, and this one just tops the bill!
So, what variant of the Kerastase Elixir Ultime Grand Crus are you?
