Nivea Skin Care Products for Men : Just For Men!

photo (49)

Women of the world, you don’t need to share your beauty products with your man.
Gorgeous men out there, you don’t need to grab your ladies’ facial wash or moisturizer.

We have something for you. Nivea made sure of that.

Presenting, Nivea skin care for men! I love it that there is a segmented market for men’s skin care and it’s now currently a growing industry in the Philippines. Who says that men do not have a right to maintain their skin? Who says that the only level of maintenance they can ever achieve is low? No, no no! This is my advocacy, as I always chat up with my male friends about skin care, and surprisingly, they are as genuinely interested as I am trying to make them be! Haha!

Good points about Nivea that makes it something that every guy must have :

that…that…that super talented Zumba instructor had me inspired!

A few weeks ago, I was invited to a Zumba-themed product launch! It seemed fun alright, look at my friends dancing, smiling, and losing weight at the same time!

happy beauty bloggers!

The dance party was facilitated by the talented group from Studio 116 Dance School. They believe that anyone can dance, and they will definitely let out the inner dancer in you! As my friends were having fun dancing, I was just beat myself, enjoying the show. They were all so cute! The instructor at Studio 116 Dance School who was leading the dance was just…so mesmerizing! She was just so good that really inspired me to try dancing! Perhaps I could grab the guts to enroll dance classes one day. After all, my dream is to become a dancer. ( I have too much dreams! Actress, dancer, naku! too ambitious =)))) ) Continue reading

Kiehl’s Opens in Powerplant Mall!

Kiehl’s is one of the iconic beauty brands in the world that all started in a small apothecary in the East Village of New York City in 1851, and has long been in the commitment of serving quality products. Of course, with its original formulations since then, it has progressive with improving, and innovating its formulations. Since 2007, Kiehl’s has opened its doors to the Philippine market – with branches at Mall of Asia, Alabang, and TriNoma. But don’t you think that there’s always something special about a flagship store in Powerplant Mall? It’s my favorite mall for leisurely shopping, so I was psyched that it has opened in Powerplant already!

Last Friday, I was invited to roam free in the store to check out the selection in Kiehl’s located at the Powerplant Mall. Well, I was a happy roamer, as I dutifully finished all my work, as this was my last frontier for the day. Ending the day filled with beauty products never felt this good!

The Statue of Liberty, with its teeny weeny voice gave out comic remarks to people, but still, we were so amused, that we had photo ops with it! ( it – being the statue, and he, being the person behind the animated statue! Haha! )

Breast Cancer Awareness Month : Believe in a World Without Breast Cancer

ELC 2012 BCA Campaign (PR Visual)

I know nothing about breast cancer. Really.

I don’t have anyone in my family who has had that battle with it, neither do I have any relatives who suffered from it. I don’t have anyone in my immediate circle who has it, who had it, and who battled with it.

But that doesn’t mean that I am not affected.

This is about loss. This is about suffering. This is about our loved ones, and ourselves. No one is safe from it, it’s a random twist of fate to anyone. It’s a matter of life and death, and I care about it. I care about my loved ones. We only live once, and I am determined to cherish my loved ones for as long as I can, be with them as long as I can, and spend more time with them, if I could be able to make that choice.

God bless Evelyn H. Lauder of the Estee Lauder Group of Companies, who has spearheaded, and first launched the Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign on 1992. During that time, 44,000 women in the US were dying from breast cancer, and the condition was something not widely talked about. It was a curse to be suffered alone, no support groups were present at that time. Evelyn Lauder pushed, and pushed to spread awareness about breast cancer, and stress that early detection can save lives. All throughout Evelyn Lauder’s life, until she passed away last November, she used her place in society, being a Lauder, to make breast cancer awareness a worthy cause, and aimed to raise funds for research to find the cure, and prevention for breast cancer.

Kerastase Elixir Ultime Grand Crus Oils

Remember my post about the raveworthy Kerastase Elixir Ultime?

As it turned out, I wasn’t the only one crazy about it. The entire world was, and still is crazy about it. Proof? 1 Elixir is sold every two minutes in the world, and Elixir Ultime has won more than thirty international awards! Can this get any better?

Oh yes it definitely can! Elixir Ultime, the classic gold variant, turned out to have three more sisters!

three more sisters!

Elixir Ultime Grand Crus is a blend of Elixir Ultime Oleo-Complex’s award winning formula, with rare and precious hair beautifying extracts of the highest quality. It is aptly named “Grand Crus,” as in France, the term is used to call the best wines and champagnes there. These three additional variants of Elixir Ultime have different scents, and are targeted for different hair types :

Reviewing Pevonia Botanica Ligne Soleil Hydrating Sunscreen and Phyto-Aromatic Mist in Boracay!

IMG_2327

I can stay here forever. As long as I have beauty products with me. That’s the catch!

Last weekend, I was given the change to re-charge, and relax. Last weekend, I was able to runaway from reality for three days in my most favorite place in this world. Thank God, I’m Filipino. Thank God, I’m born, and I live in the Philippines. Thank God, I have Boracay here with me. In my country, in my heart.

Just a funny fact, that I have booked this trip on January 1 ( first day of the year! ) during an Airphil seat sale. I cancelled it last minute because I needed to join Cosmetologie that year, and I was happy that I still got the fare that low even so! But really, in the midst of the crazy ber months, and the even crazier things happening in my life ( with beauty blogging, my work in our family business, Charm makeup brushes, and a new online venture happening very soon – you’ll be in the loop ok! ) , I’ve felt that my brain = mashed potatoes. Don’t get me wrong, I love, LOVE what I do, but the pressures of meeting deadlines, being a perfectionist, and just mobilizing things entail hard work, and can be exhaustive. I love it that we have the loveliest beach in the world right here in our country, as I feel that I always get to re-stock on that supply of energy, intensely good vibes ( sunshine there makes me happy! ) , and I just love staying there. It’s as if I’m away from the busy world, just enjoying paradise.

During this beach trip, I was able to save up on airfare, and just re-allocate my budget with a good resort. I have this thing about nice resorts and accommodations in every travel I make, and try to save up for it as much as I can. My choice, forever, and ever, in Boracay, would be Two Seasons. Great rooms, spacious bathrooms!
