I’ve had Zen Zest on my radar early on during the first years of Beautynomics. I fell in love with their organic line of haircare, as I have reviewed it here. Oh, I can never forget that!
So, when Liz, a good blogger friend of mine invited me to attend a Zen Zest bloggers’ night, I just couldn’t pass this event up. God knows how I don’t really go to much events as of late, but really, how can you pass up a proudly Filipino beauty brand, with a really inspiring entrepreneur behind it?

Girl power defined, and my beauty entrepreneur inspiration.
Michelle, at a young age of 23, rose above from heartbreak, channeling all those energies into creative, and productive ones, and started with her fragrance business, Zen Zest. With its first branch located at SM Megamall, it just grew and grew, until the present, Zen Zest branches count from one to more than a hundred thirty. A difficult count, don’t you think? No one’s complaining, and I am amazed on how her dedication led her business to grow that big in a span of eight years! Truly inspiring!

I feel so lucky to have attended this event, together with my beauty blogger and fashion blogger friends! We’re a happy bunch, that is why events are really happy times!
Checking out Zen Zest‘s latest offerings, well, Zen Zest prides itself with really great fragrances that I’m sure everyone of us will find something that of our perfect match :

Zen Zest Cocktail Collection
The Zen Zest Cocktail Collection reminds me of everything beautiful at night – sparkling, sexy, and alluring. It has both collections made for women, and even for men! Take your pick, I’m sure you’re bound to find your signature “cocktail!”
My friend Jheng instantly fell in love with Bellini ( couldn’t stop raving about it haha! ) , while I liked Daiquiri. Cosmopolitan is a really interesting scent that smells like an expensive perfume – fruity-sexy! Add some more words to that – intoxicating, and sultry!

Aside from the Cocktail Collection, they also have sugar-sweet scents, being the Zen Zest Sparkling Sugar Collection. These sweetheart scents are so youthful and so light! Even if the names really remind me of cupcakes and everything sugary sweet, they are unbelievably light! Light + sweet, I believe is the perfect combination. My mom is particularly besotted to the Cherry Cheesecake variant – she even sprays this to a hair brush before she brushes her hair! Haha!
So, who wouldn’t love a brand that creates fragrances that smell like a million bucks, and available at really affordable prices? What’s next? Skincare, soaps? The possibilities are endless for Zen Zest, and I am sure to be on the lookout for Michelle’s next surprise for the beauty industry!
