Dove for our hair! Hurrah!!!

I would always associate Dove with a brand with glorious, amazing moisturizing powers. So just imagine, Dove giving so much moisture on your skin, can also infuse your hair with its amazing moisturizing powers?

That, I really gotta see.

Just this month, I started to see Dove hair care products at department stores/Watson’s (I might be late to see them, they might’ve even been supplied earlier), and I was fortunate enough to have received a goodie bag with a full range of one variant of Dove Hair Care. I’ve been roadtesting it right now, and I will be giving you results as soon as I can, as I have been observing my hair carefully (now that is a really crazy activity don’t you think hahaha!)

Dove prides itself with the three special ingredients that promises to nourish your hair, and keep your hair healthy -

•Micro-Moisture Serum moisturizes hair to defend it against continuous aggression that causes hair to become dry, brittle and prone to damage.
•Nutri-Oil Complex helps prevent frizz with its perfect blend of natural oils that to deeply moisturise dry hair without leaving greasy feel.
•Fiber Actives heals your hair from the inside. Unlike that of other damage-repair products, it penetrates the internal hair fibers to reconstruct hair and to restore broken protein bonds bringing hair back to an almost virgin state.

As for the variants, it has four :

* Straight and Silky – for lightly-damaged hair, that is typically dry and rough to the touch.

* Nourishing Oil Care – for dull and frizzy hair that lacks lustre and shine.

* Hair Fall Rescue – for brittle hair strands, and for those who have hair fall problems.

* Intense Repair – the most “intense” of them all that repairs really damaged hair from various factors such as the environment and styling tools. Intense Repair offers 9 times less split ends in just 3 washes.

Now, as I had my hair bleached and due to my skipping sulfates for the meanwhile, I have decided to forego roadtesting the shampoo, with much regret as Brigitte, who is a user of Dove hair products even before it has reached the Philippine shores, tells me that she swears by the shampoo alone that it really makes the hair soft already. But I’m quite in luck as Dove does not only offer shampoos, but a wide range of moisturizing conditioning treatments!

and even beyond conditioners,

they do have the Dove Overnight Treatment. This is a really good idea as we experience dryness from the AC as we sleep. Waking up to beautiful hair is such a nice feeling.

Dove Damage Therapy’s Two-Step Treatment gives you an intense repairing experience in two steps

Step 1: With its patented Fiber Actives, it penetrates deep into the hair to help replenish lost proteins. Step 2: Its Repair-Lock innovation seals in repair, leaving hair transformed and soft to touch without the need to rinse.

and last but not the least, Dove Damage Therapy’s Serum is a light, hair oil that cuts down your frizz and lets you have smooth, lustrous hair all throughout the day. It has two variants, one for hair fall, and one for hair nourishment.

So far, so good. I’ve been using the treatment masque for days, and aside from the softness that it has given my hair, it smells soooo good too, and the scent lingers! So if you’re the type who loves scent-lingering hair products, this is it! I’ve been using the Overnight Treatment as well, and the hair oil everyday. So far, so good, my hair is doing great, and no reactions from it. I would want to know how my hair would fare in a month, if it would be really, really moisturized and in top health, though, so let’s see!

So how about you? Have you tried Dove hair care products already? I’d love to read up your reviews on it, as well!
