With my bleached and ash blonde hair right now, you must be thinking if I had regrets with it. Well, as soon as I went home and faced the mirror, a realization just swept on to me – I needed to maintain it, and at that moment, I just remembered seeing some people who have had hair bleached like mine with their hair looked really dry and damaged already – which explains why I was scared of getting adventurous with my hair color and stalled bleaching for a while. I realized that bleached hair and colored hair was prone to damage. ( just now? ok pardon my craziness ) Okay, Sophie. Your hair is not going to the dry and damaged direction. You are going to do absolutely everything to keep it nice and soft-looking!

As I have been told by the staff at Creations Salon that my hair looked really healthy despite getting bleached months before ( my hair was bleached since August ), I credited it to my using organic shampoo and conditioner by Venus and Mars. I cracked the code and realized that using sulfate-free cleansers is the reason why my hair has been this healthy. So now, I’ve really been trying organic hair care products to take care of my hair.

For the longest time already, my hair has been really particular with conditioners as it is categorized as dry and damaged. Regular conditioners simply won’t do, and I consider deep-conditioning masques as my daily conditioner and really, really quench my hair with the needed moisture as it needs it. I remember that quite well during my rebonded, and coloured hair days. Now that it’s bleached, and really light, it definitely needs more tender lovin`.

I’ve been hearing alot of good things about the wonder ingredient Argan Oil for the skin, and the hair. Argan Oil is a really rare kind of oil found in Morrocco, that is loaded with Vitamin E and antioxidants. So when I chanced on Snoe Beauty’s booth at the Rockwell Moonlit Bazaar (see, I am always a good neighbor to my bazaar neighbors, mahilig akong mangapitbahay hahaha!) I reserved their Hair Heroes Intense Argan Oil Cleansing Conditioner for the hair. I saw the price tag – almost P500.00, hmmm not so cheap, and a bit expensive. But I was willing to try it. If it breaks out my scalp, then goodbye, and maybe my sisters who have less sensitive scalps can use them, and if yes, it’d be a gem forever in my bath essentials! Key word was also “liquid gold.” Who can ever resist that? So checkout!

First, let me commend on Hair Heroes’ packaging – it’s awesome. It makes me feel like a superhero ( or Wonderwoman ) would pop out of the bottle. Haha! I really like Snoe Beauty’s packaging concept. They’re really cute, and well thought of.

So I’ve put the bottle of Hair Heroes on the shelf, as I go back to my normal routine past the bazaar. I only remembered to use Hair Heroes when I had my hair bleached and colored ash blonde, as I feel that it’s worth a shot for this product if this will really be a good maintenance product for my hair. Here goes!

Reading the back label of this product made me more excited with the beneficial ingredient-packed formula,

Pumping out some product on my palm, it was like regular conditioner – white, just like that. What’s different was the smell – it was a strong scent of…soapy coconut. No, not the annoying coconut oil scent that you’d hate for your hair, this is actually the cleanest, soapiest coconut scent that I’ve ever sniffed! This smells wonderful. I used this as a deep conditioner and left it for a few minutes, and rinsed off.

The result was quite unexpected as I wasn’t really expecting too much, or I have been a cynic when it comes to organic products ( I can be like that sometimes – I have bought one bottle of organic conditioner and it broke my scalp out really bad a few months back ). I was just wowed with Hair Heroes as it really made my hair look soft, smooth, and really shiny! I really didn’t expect this product to do just that and show me the result in front of the mirror! To be honest, and don’t laugh at me, I have been a little bit more vain than usual as I would like to check my hair out in front of the mirror from time to time as I really love how silky it looks, thanks to this conditioner! To add, my hair does not feel greasy either. So this really moisturizes my hair, and yet does not give me that heavy, weighed-down, five-kilo-hair feel!

Taking care of bleached/colored hair is no joke, and I’m glad I’ve found a good product to help me take care of my tresses!

My hair has never touched any straightening hair irons, all air dried nicely thanks to this conditioner!

First time my hair looks really fine. In truth, my hair is really coarse per-strand, and brittle.

From time to time, I also like applying a few pumps of Hair Heroes Intense Argan Oil Cleansing Conditioner on my damp hair as a leave-on conditioner, and have some deep conditioning Sunday with my hair leaving on Hair Heroes for twenty minutes prior to rinsing. The results are just glorious. So glorious that I rushed to Cinderella at Glorietta 3 last January 2 to restock two bottles of these babies so that I’ll never have to run out. I definitely need to bring this with me during my trip abroad next week!

This intense conditioner will really nourish your hair with so much health that you’ll never have to ignore your hair ever again – you would be smitten enough that you’ll give so much attention to your hair and make sure it stays that beautiful!
