Z-Pore For a Poreless, Flawless Makeup Look!

Z-Pore

Everyone knows how much I LOVE primers, specially silicone-based ones. My face is not exactly evenly textured – I do have large pores, small pores, lines, and even depressions, and I’d do anything to “fill em up” and not let makeup sink in those imperfections and magnify my skin problems.

Pores, pores, pores. I never really believed in products that promised to make pores smaller. What I do know is that as dead skin cells build up, pores are magnified with the dead skin cells that surround them, giving them thick layers and making them look awful. Chemical peels, in my opinion, and exfoliation are the best procedures/rituals to help make the pores look more refined.

Joie The Makeup Bar : Charm Makeup Brushes’ Home in Singapore!

joiehehe

Bongga. I wonder how I’ll ever explain to Joie what “bongga” means. Though she’s asking about it. Haha!

This weekend means two things to me – my most exciting weekend as I go camping in the South ( literally, coz I’ll be living for 5 days there, which is bliss as there’s something really relaxing about the southern part of the Metro ) for the annual Saint James the Great Christmas Bazaar ( visit Beauty & Minerals there! and let’s meet! ), and another important thing this weekend is the grand launch of my best friend’s makeup studio/makeup bar in Singapore.

Celebrating in Style With Sunsilk!

Post

Sunsilk has been a mainstay in my household as long as I could remember. It was the first brand that actually tamed my flyaway hair when I was in high school, as a good friend suggested the product to me and life was never quite the same. As the brand progressed, it kept getting better and better. It became the brand that I’d recommend to my clients to wash their makeup brushes with, as it has crazy-fabulous softeners that even animal hair can be softened like that! Sunsilk is one of the best shampoo brands, in my opinion, and I would always recommend it to people wanting soft, and sleek, frizz-free hair.

One tidbit for you – did you know that Sunsilk’s following in Facebook has reached its 1,000,000 mark? Yes, and it’s been months since it reached the highest number of fans in the Philippines. It only shows one thing, that Sunsilk, indeed, has touched so many lives ( or hair, for that matter, haha! ) and with the Hair Experts line that featured specially formulated products from the world’s hair experts ( Teddy Charles, Yuko Yamashita, to name some ), it has indeed gained more fans of the brand.

As a celebration for the Sunsilk Hair Experts’ Facebook page hitting the one million mark , they have conducted a 24-hour promotion wherein they invited fans to contribute congratulatory photos and videos. Everyone was given a Sunsilk gift pack, while the 50 most creative submissions were chosen, and were in for a treat – they were to be celebrities for a day with a makeover and a photoshoot! Well, ask me how fabulous this celebration was? I shall tell you, as we celebrated with Sunsilk, joining the 50 winners in a fun-filled makeover day! Continue reading

Catch Grubbies at the Global Pinoy Bazaar!

Oh, it’s the bazaar season again, and the Holiday bazaar shopping experience starts this weekend, with the simultaneous Supersale Bazaar at the World Trade Center and the Global Pinoy Bazaar at Rockwell Tent!

One of the newcomers in the bazaar and apparel scene is Grubbies. Grubbies is one helluva neat concept, as it steers away from the ultimate gimick or fashionista outfit, but is more focused on comfort, but will guarantee you that you won’t look comfortable, but sorry-looking. It’s being comfortably stylish, but focused more on relaxed, chill-wear!

How about checking them out at the Global Pinoy Bazaar this weekend? I’ll be there to check this one out since there are times when I’m not in the mood to be all flashy and all dressed up. Most of my days, you’ll usually see me in really comfortable-looking clothes. Maybe I can save myself with some fashion sense in this. Haha!

See you there!
