I absolutely thank the heavens for letting me be born circa 1980s ( hahaha not telling which year exactly! ) and not in the 1800s. I am really, really, really thankful ( you have no idea! I say thank you everyday! ) that I am able to see the beauty of modern technology do wonders in everything including well, my personal vested interest – beauty.

Ask me if I’m for plastic surgery – I’m not really against it ( I pronounce my firm, and strong “go” for people who are brave enough to do that to help boost their self image and self esteem ), but I need to be honest and tell you that I’m afraid of anything that requires a knife, or any foreign object to be residing inside my body. At most, I am for non-invasive treatments that somehow enhance how we look. I just told you this because when a friend of mine asked me if I am open for liposuction, or any augmentation of some sorts, I could not bring myself to say yes as I do not feel, and see the need to have it now, but I told her that in the future, I would not know what I need, I might actually go for it, so let’s just leave it there, with a plain no for now.

But well, again, my major thank you to fate because right now, we do have non-invasive treatments that are just amazing! No downtime, no wounds, almost like magic, just the way I like it! I was able to discover something while I was having my pampering treatment at Ellen’s Aesthetic Center a few weeks ago, and that is their RF Bipolar Treatment.

Have you ever heard of RF treatments? They use radiofrequency waves to firm up, contour the skin, and somehow blast away unwanted fat. It’s more of a firming procedure that’s great for slight sagging on the skin, or for those who feel that their faces need some “sculpting.” ( I know, some people are unhappy about that and I respect that ). It’s dubbed as the “non-invasive facelift.” Benefits would include skin tightening, skin firming, increased collagen production, pore refining ( brought about by skin tightening ), and slight smoothening in fine lines and wrinkles. Well, I was so game for this treatment to see what it can do to my face!

As I had my Basic Facial done at Ellen’s ( it was very basic, just extraction and that ), I was to have a Bipolar Treatment next for my face. The aesthetician ( Hi Miss Daisy! ) looked at my face, and told me that the sides of my jaws have some slight sagging ( ackk!!! I got shocked! ) and needed some lift. I was thinking, maybe my face got fat from too much eating. Hahahaha! Anyway, I let her do the half of my face first to see the effect of the Bipolar treatment.

Okay, my face, filled with transparent gel ( very much like those gels used in ultrasounds hahaha!) was massaged using a metallic tool, and I was just getting sleepy when she told me to get up and see for myself the effect on the half of my face. To be totally honest, I screamed. Yes, I did! Someone from the next cubicle actually approached us. Haha! I saw my jawline very much chiseled and well-formed! I was whopping in glee that I told her to proceed and make me look like Kim Chiu ( and of course, she laughed! ) Result? See for yourself! I love my jaws! Hahaha!

When I got home, my sisters were wondering because there was something different with the way I looked. When I revealed that it was the Bipolar Treatment, they told me that yeah, my face looked better because I had the tendency to have a double chin. Ok, first time I’ve heard of that!

I know, no makeup, but I was THAT happy to post this!

I also went to a dinner when friends told me that my face looked slimmer, and told me that I have been losing weight. I revealed my secret, having the Bipolar Treatment, and well, I went home happy that the results were noticeable!

I can actually try to look young for as long as my efforts can take, and call me vain, I might be one of those in search for the elixir of youth in my past life that’s why I am obsessed with looking younger!

Oh no, aside from thank you, I’m shouting out an oh no to my fate. I was born when there are lots of things to be vain and to spend for. Ahhh! I want to do this once a month! Hahaha!
