It was a fun, fun Saturday, that I met up with Shen and Brigitte, whom I share my love for beauty ( how I love that we met via beauty blogging! ) with. As Shen had her hair rebonded at Lourd Ramos’ Creations Salon a day before, she was highly raving about the staff there, so with my hair color retouching sesh almost due, I decided to try their services that day, alongside Brigitte who was seeking a new cut for her hair. Creations Salon by Lourd Ramos is located at the 2nd floor of Glorietta 5, so we were Makati bound that day.
Lourd Ramos is one of the prominent names when it comes to makeup artistry. I remember him teaching before at ABA and wanted to study makeup there, and now, he is a brand ambassador for both Smashbox and Davines. Amazing. Now, with his salon, I’m expecting to come out looking like a movie star, just like his showbiz clients. Hahaha!

Here’s me with my new hair, a bit darker than my very light golden brown hair last month. I’ve been liking it so far as it looks so soft, and the color is just right for me – not too shocking, and definitely softening my features. I definitely feel like Angelica Panganiban now. Hahaha! ( please, in the spirit of jokes, bear with me! ). Sonnymar was the one who attended to me and he did a splendid job with my hair, and he also has a winner sense of humor!

I was also so lucky to have chanced upon Lourd Ramos, running around in his really packed salon. I think that the reason why his salon is always packed like that, is that all the staff who do hair, or makeup are intensely meticulous, from cuts, to coloring, and even complicated hair treatments like rebonding and permanent blow dry. With a really passionate set of people working here, plus the not so expensive prices ( my hair color was only P 2,000 for such length! ), I guess I will be returning to the Creations Salon for my hair color retouches, and I am even considering a permanent blow dry!
For those who would want really affordable salon services, I highly recommend Lourd Ramos’ Creations Salon. Topnotch service, and yet, it doesn’t hurt the pocket as much!
