With the weekend that just passed, I was just so happy that I didn’t have to work this Saturday. There’s this “Holy Week” air that the sun is glaring mercilessly, coupled with confusing rains here and there. Ahh! The world is going crazy. Anyways, it was a rest day for me, but I ended up going to Rockwell that day!

Rockwell Powerplant Mall has been close to my heart, specially with their bazaars. I just really, really like the place. The Rockwell Tent is small, but intimate, and I would usually score great finds as I man my booth for Beauty & Minerals. The truth is, I think I get to shop more stuff at bazaars than at the boutiques inside the mall! This Saturday, I was there for work, meeting a friend of mine, to approve for her packaging stuff ( yes, I print stuff for a living! ), and it was just the perfect excuse to visit the Coachella Bazaar that was happening that weekend!

Okay, sue me, and shake your head, as I was only there for a span of 15-20 minutes, and I managed to buy, without even thinking, the following. Warning – super cool stuff ahead!

What : Amber Lights Laguna Soya Candle in Scotch Pine
Price : P 390.00 each

I really, really, really HEART Amber Lights Laguna’s Soya Candles. Knowing Smile’s impeccable taste with fragrance, I’m just so confident that the scents are not common, and definitely of elegance! Yes, you can smell elegance and bliss with this brand’s candles. I bought two big candles of her new variant, called Scotch Pine, because it smells like Christmas. Yes, I love my place smelling like Christmas everyday!

Oh, I whooped in glee as I saw Venus and Mars in the bazaar! I LOVE this brand, and consider this my favorite indie organic brand in the market. When I saw her booth, I squealed, “Jamie!!! Conditioner!!!” Yes, just that. Haha!

I love this Never A Bad Hair Day Conditioner as this is the one that I use when my scalp breaks out from stress. I find this really mild, and it also gives me a minty feel on the scalp! It makes my hair soft while I’m suffering. I can’t live without this!

What : Venus and Mars Royal Pearl EMU Soap
Price : P 195.00

And another one, I told Jamie, “the soap!!!” The V&M Royal Pearl EMU Soap is just the best-smelling organic soap I’ve ever tried. It makes me smell like a fresh melon right after! I’m glad that I have this again!

I was hanging out with Smile at the Amber Lights Laguna Booth, just beside Digital Traincase’s booth, that carries NYX products, and also my Charm makeup brushes and Inti-Mate Bra Converter! As I turned to leave and kissed Smile on the cheek, turns out my shopping spree wasn’t quite done – I noticed Smile’s beautiful pink lips, and blurted, “what’s your lip color? I love it!” Smile, the forever enabler, quickly equipped, “NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Addis Ababa!” before anything else, I went home with this new lip color of mine. This is quite a shocking pink on the tube, and think about scoring a beautiful, shocking pink lip color that looks like a high end brand’s version ( may it be NARS Schiap or what! ) for only P 350 bucks? that’s really, really cool! I’ve ignored the brand NYX far too long. I am begging the heavens not to start another addiction! Well, I promise to update you with a look using this lippie!

Overall, in my 20 minutes of stay in the bazaar, I saw super youngsters selling stuff and I found it to be refreshing! Young people being so entrepreneurial just makes me become hopeful for the coming generations! Well, did you go to this bazaar? I’d love to hear from you!

   It was great running into you at the bazaar! If I were still in my makeup phase, I think I would have gone nuts at the booth selling Nyx lipstick. The price wasn’t so bad at P200 per tube.
