Oh, Katy Perry has got to be one of my favorite music artists this decade! ( well, and last decade? hahaha! ) From her super controversial hit, ” I Kissed A Girl,” she’s just skyrocketted to fame with her next hits, “Waking Up In Vegas,” “Thinking of You,” to LSS-inducing songs “California Girls,” “Teenage Dream,” and my recent favorite, “Fireworks!” Oh, I just love her!
Aside from her strong, unique voice, she also has some awesome and audacious fashion sense – with clothes, to makeup, and even her hair! That must be why ghd, an iconic British, professionally endorsed hair styling brand, got her as their official endorser!
ghd, which stands for “good hair day”, is regarded as the “Aston Martin ( oh wow! ) of hair care”, gives the market one of the best stylers, that replaces curling irons, hair irons, and straighteners, as it is a straightening iron, and curling iron in one! ( kudos to the round ends! )
”Katy is the epitome of modern fashion and styling. Her unique, ever changing looks are the envy of style devotees around the world. Katy completely embodies ghd’s spirit of female transformation and empowerment, as she is recognised as a cutting edge style icon unafraid to push fashion and beauty boundaries. Sassy, stylish and sexy, Katy is the perfect partner for ghd,” says Paul Stoneham, Chief Executive Officer, ghd.
“I’m so excited to be working with ghd, especially using their tools on my California Dreams Tourto get me stage ready. ghd products have a reputation of being the best products in the biz, and I like being associated with that. I’m very excited to reveal the styles I did with legendary David LaChapelle in the upcoming ghd campaign. Keep your eyes peeled for it!” shares Perry in regards to the announcement.
That is just awesome. A ghd styler sets you back from $ 150 – $250 USD ( not cheap ), but it definitely costs less than an Aston Martin. Haha! I might take my chances with this brand in the distant future, while I am still content with my humble VS tourmaline flat iron here.
Who loves their ghd styler there? I’d love to hear about your experience with the brand!
