I cherish my childhood so much that I have so memories that I fondly reminisce, and what’s funny about me, is that I’ve been a couch potato, watching lots and lots of TV ever since I was little. A big part of my childhood consisted of watching Okay Ka Fairy Ko, which starred Tweetie de Leon as Faye. Imagine my glee, a decade after, being able to meet Tweetie de Leon-Gonzales in the flesh, as she is the official Pond’s Gold Radiance endorser!
Okay, this was supposed to be an interview, but I didn’t talk much. I was too starstruck to ask any questions, buy my camera was so magnetized by how fresh, radiant, and beautiful Tweetie is, that I went trigger happy. To make you a deal, I’ll show you photos I’ve taken of her, alongside some facts and things I’ve learned from her via our interview!

Tidbit #1 : Tweetie is one of the lucky ones. She never experienced a troubled puberty with acne. She only started breaking out during her 30′s. She’s not the conscious type to use alot of beauty products, so upon being offered to be an endorser of the Pond’s Gold Radiance line, she roadtested the entire line for months, and loved it!

Tidbit #2 : Tweetie’s favorite product amongst the products in the Pond’s Gold Radiance Line is the Precious Youth Serum. For her routine, she washes her face using the Pond’s Cleansing Mousse , applies the Youthful Glow Day Cream ( or the Night Cream at night ) , and tops it off with Precious Youth Serum. She loves how it feels on her face, and how radiant it makes her look! Her husband has been complimenting that she’s looking really blooming lately. ( Nice! )

Tidbit # 3 : When asked if she can give beauty tips to us, Tweetie tells us to start early with a skin care regimen. Taking care of the skin is important, because it’s in our skin where aging shows quite evidently.

Tidbit # 4: Tweetie names one of her favorite beauty products – Carmex Lip Balm. She’s not big into cosmetics, and she doesn’t wear makeup everyday, if it’s not needed. Let’s just say that she sees skin care as a top priority, as having good skin is a must over putting makeup. She even confesses, that she didn’t even plan on wearing makeup for the press dinner, but when she saw all the other managers all glammed up, she just put on some light makeup ( on her own! ) Yes, she does her own makeup! Look at those perfect eyebrows!

Tidbit # 6 : Tweetie sees working out as a must-do everyday, as she manages to do it everyday after work. One of the sports that she is into right now, is squash!

Tidbit #7 : Tweetie loves jewelry design, and now has her own jewelry business! She sources suppliers herself and makes them herself!

I think, that aside from her Pond’s Gold Radiance skin care routine, what makes her absolutely radiant is the inner peace that she had exuded with her frequent smiles, and laughs, all throughout the interview. She seems like someone so fulfilled, and living her life to the fullest, and she looks much, much younger than her age (she’s a mother of four! ) . I am most honored to have had dinner with one of the country’s most celebrated models, as she looks every inch of being a Filipina- with gorgeous Filipina skin that we should be proud of.

Also present during the event was the very beautiful Rissa Mananquil, Pond’s Age Miracle Ambassador. I loved it on how her eyes sparkled with glee and enthusiasm as she started talking about the Ponds Age Miracle line, on how she loves it and shares it with her friends! With her skin so flawless and young, I wish I could be like that when I add a few more years to my age. These beautiful women just remind us on how we should be taking our skin care religiously right now! Haha!

Well, it was really a good dinner, as we sort of celebrated Chinese New Year in advance, and celebrated Jane’s birthday!
So, who amongst you have tried Pond’s Gold Radiance? I am most curious on how it fared on you.
