Oh, I’m in love!
Remember Cristine’s Christmas gift, the L’Occitaine Green Tea Shower Gel? I loved it so much that I swore to myself, that the moment I get in any Duty Free shop in an airport, I would immediately restock another bottle for myself, to share with my mom and siblings, too!
Well, it happened, it happened! Just ten minutes before boarding the plane to Siem Reap, we went to the beauty section in the duty free shop of Terminal 2 in Singapore, and I got myself a L’Occitane Green Tea Shower Gel, and as I was ready to pay, I made a last look to the L’Occitane shelf, and I saw….Eau de Toilette. The L’Occitane Green Tea line had fragrance! Gosh. I was hypnotized back to where the fragrance was, and I had to spritz it on my wrist. Result? Ahh…checkout! Hahaha! I loved it so much that I bought it, as my friends were saying, “hurry, we’re late!!!!”
Priced lower in duty free shops, I considered myself lucky for snagging such a precious fragrance. When my friend noticed my scent as she was close to me, she started raving about it on how it smelled so good , and she promised that she’d buy one bottle for herself too, once we get back to any airport.
Well, okay, you might ask me, what’s about this scent that made me go gaga, and my friend as well?
Well, I first fell in love with the L’Occitane Green Tea Shower Gel my friend gave me as a gift. It smelled clean and fresh, and it lingered. The L’Occitane Green Tea Eau de Toilette is the fragrance counterpart of my shower gel, and it smelled equally fresh, clean, and the best part about it? It lingered! It stayed, and stayed. If you would compare this to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea fragrance ( which is a popular choice ), they smelled similar since they’re both green tea scents, but L’Occitane goes up a notch by a distinct, and stronger fragrance, and it definitely stays longer than Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, which is too light for my taste.
For a more detailed description of the fragrance, I got this from their website,
Subtle complex of fresh aromas uplifts your mood–transporting you to green fields laced with the fragrances of bitter orange, jasmine, cedar and thyme. Invigorating as a Spring day. Appreciated equally by men and women for its tonic green aroma that creates sensations of well-being and freshness.
L’Occitane Green Tea Eau de Toilette is my signature scent for everydays lately, as my olfactory senses seem to be agreeing with it alot – I don’t get headaches as the scent is very light, and I enjoy smelling great all throughout the day, as it stays!
I would recommend this to men and women ( yes, it’s unisex! ) who loves crisp, fresh, and clean scents. No heavy head-ache inducing scents, take that from me. Once you love this line, you’ll be inspired to get all the products for a “layering” experience – the fragrance, the body wash, and the body milk. I’m almost getting that body milk. Perhaps on my next trip! Ahhh!
Oh, did I just say – I’m in love!
Note -Major rave status. Cannot stop. Hahaha!
