It’s been awhile since I’ve tried L’Oreal Professionel products. I used to try them when I was in college – being in awe of all the products in magazines, wanting to try almost everything that would address all my problems in skin, hair, and body. I think during my teenage life, I battled mostly with my oily, acne-prone skin and really frizzy hair. With problematic frizzy hair ( we were in the advent of hair rebonding, but I was still too young to be able to afford such, and my mom believed in natural solutions ) I tried all the available hair products in the market and tried L’Oreal Professionel’s Serie Anti Frizz line. It proved to tame down my hair, but with it being so cost prohibitive on my end, I moved on to other stuff.
I recently stumbled into L’Oreal Serie Nature Source de Richesse Line, a supposedly natural line from L’Oreal. L’Oreal Nature products are proudly sulfate-free. Surprisingly, they still lathered well on my hair, and I didn’t feel a void in my normal shampooing experience. It also has its star ingredient, which is lycopene, something that comes from tomatoes. Antioxidant for the hair? I like!

I had trouble identifying what smell the L’Oreal Nature products. It was floral, but it was sweet! Shen told me it smelled like mayonnaise. I got more confused! My mom told me in her most confident tone that it smelled of leaves. But then, it smelled of sweet leaves. Okay, I think that can do.
What sets L’Oreal Professionel products from mass products? How does it justify being salon-exclusive? The answer is simple. It gives salon results, pretty much out of the ordinary, and a notch higher than mall-available ( what? ) products. Salon results. Case and point? Look at my hair on the photo below.

It wasn’t blow dried. It wasn’t styled in any way. Okay, my bangs are permed but they’re getting worn out. I only used L’Oreal Nature Shampoo and Hair Masque on my hair, and my bangs just dried beautifully, naturally bouncy and healthy like that! During normal days and using normal shampoo and conditioners, my bangs would have bad tantrums every now and then and be unusually curly and unruly. When I used L’Oreal Nature, I was so delighted to see my bangs behave and be straighter, that it looked like I was needing a trim on my bangs already, but I haven’t noticed that because during normal days, my bangs looked shorter. I also noticed that my hair did not frizz up! Salon results, indeed- without the blow dryer! Amazing!
Well, if you’re up for sulfate-free professional hair products that would yield salon results, I can totally recommend the L’Oreal Serie Nature Source de Richesse Line. It’s really worth every penny spent, a little more expensive ( maybe double ) of L’Oreal Elseve hair care products, but about half the price of the uber luxurious Kerastase hair products. I’d consider this a great start to see instant salon results. I love this!

Its a little bit over 700 for the shampoo and around 1000+ for the masque
