Last Thursday, as I was having my last day at the Worldbex Christmas Bazaar, I was able to cajole my very kind sister Straw ( thanks! you are the best! ) to fill in for me to attend a beauty event. My gosh, it’s just been months since I’ve attended one, and it was such a refreshing change of scenery for me!
What greeted me at the Neutrogena Fine Fairness Launch – eight beautiful ladies clad in white, all smiles, glowing radiantly!
I was able to get a “backstage” photo taking of each of the ladies,
Georgina Schulze-Del Rosario, still very much in beautiful shape ( and such an angelic face! ) even if she has kids already!
Isabel Roces, all glowing, as I am always reminded of how fierce she rules the runway with her smoldering eyes and lips!
Patty Laurel, the girl-next-door beauty whom I’ve admired since she was a sportscaster for Ateneo for the UAAP ( and I heart her funny blog! )
Solenn Heusaff, the current “it” girl, being all over the glossies, and on TV! Gosh, I have to admit, she is a girl crush of mine ! Look how she pulled off a shapesuit as an outfit!
Earth Rullan, the dusky beauty behind Earthlinggorgeous.com, looking great in a Grecian ensemble!
Jane Kingsu-Cheng- glowing mom, accomplished beauty columnist, Forever21 Marketing Manager, and a style blogger – she just makes me proud to be a Judenite!
Hannah Villasis ( or Hannah V as I’d like to call her ) - the beautiful success story holder of how a blogger can conquer media. Her curves are envy-worthy.
Stunning Phoebe Ramos – how can I describe her? Tech nerd, crazy food critic, but definitely a good listener and a super good companion when shopping! I love our beauty talks as we have the same wavelength! Hahaha! She is just one of my favorite people in the entire world!

Dear Christine, I’ve admired you since I was very little! I used to watch you at Eat Bulaga, and even got giddy during swimming meets as I see you coach another team. I am now a happy girl!
Well, this was really a great event with great people to start with! Neutrogenaencourages each one of us to start our year right, and for 2011, there are definitely greater plans for Beautynomics, and Beauty & Minerals on my end. I’d definitely love a fresh start to another year feeling light, beautiful, and optimistic. Starting the year with good vibes is definitely a good plan.
