Doing bridal makeup for one of my best friends is indeed an honor, and with my utmost joy, I was able to pull it off ( whew! ) despite being all nervous, as I really wanted Maisie to look beautiful during her wedding day!
As promised, here are some nice photos for some show and tell to my readers!

Okay, the first pic was me, hurriedly retouching more lipstick on Maisie as she needed more color on the lips, as per the photographer’s recommendation. I used the lipstick to pack more color on her lips as my lip brush was buried inside my purse already! Oh well, it was her own lipstick anyway, so no issues!

Here is Jacqe doing Maisie’s hair. Yes, she can be Pond’s Senior Brand Manager, and be a hair stylist as well! Consider it her hidden talent. Haha! BTW, she’s Maisie’s Maid of Honor

Also did makeup for Auntie Lil, Maisie’s beautiful mom. See how they look like sisters? Auntie Lily is still as beautiful and attractive as ever!

A more closeup picture of Maisie, our beautiful bride! Oh, I was beaming proudly, seeing her all grown up, getting ready to be married that day! As we basically grew up together ( since high school ), I just could not believe that she is a wife to Alex now! She still is the teenager Maisie in my heart – in Saint Jude high school uniform, always the shopaholic, and my forever pigout buddy! See her beautiful teeth? She has such a captivating smile!

I love it that we were able to make it for Maisie’s wedding in Canada. Despite some of my apprehensions as I am such a work addict, I would have regretted it big time if I had missed this opportunity to see one of my best friends get married. I’m just happy that we’re one solid unit, all of us girls, through thick and thin, and I’m sure that this will stay like this for a lifetime, married or not yet.

For Alex and Maisie, I wish you a lifetime of happiness. I’m very sad as you’d be living far away from me, as I sometimes wish that I could move to Canada as I fell in love with the place myself and be closer to you guys, but emails would have to do for now. I don’t really know how I could live my weekends without you, Mai, but thinking that you’re very much in love and very happy with your new role as a wife, and best friend to Alex, it gives me joy knowing that you’ve found true love and peace. Thank God for technology that we’re still able to keep in touch, as friendship transcends physical presence- soul sisters are on each others’ side every single time, no matter how far. Love you both!
