When you say gold, you usually equate it to one of the most precious things here on earth – heck, the price of gold in the market is rising as high as ever, just recently ( gold was a really good investment as its price is really high now! ) Gold usually translates to wealth and abundance. How does it translate into skin care, if I may ask?
Well, upon researching about gold and skin care, I’ve learned that gold was used for cancer treatments, and aesthetically, was a good anti-aging ingredient. Gold actually makes key ingredients get absorbed into the skin easily, and reduces oxidation on our skin, almost like an “anti-oxidant”. To be honest, it was quite surreal as I just watched Korina Sanchez’s Rated K around a week ago before I was introduced to the new line of Pond’s, with gold being used by the dermatologists, infusing it into the skin to make skin glow. I have pumped some product out and have my initial opinions about it – it has gold specks, that for sure, will reflect light and make skin less dull, that’s for sure, so it acts in two ways- the superficial gold specks there are light reflectors that cancel out any trace of unevenness on the skin texture-wise or tone-wise, while the anti-aging angle is still a promise given to us by Pond’s as it is needed to roadtest this for a while. But as Age Miracle has been used by my sisters for quite a while, and seeing their skins in good condition, I think that this will just be great.
Testing them initially – I’ve felt the texture of the moisturizer – for you girls who are afraid of greasy moisturizers, the Day Cream is definitely lighter than Age Miracle’s, while the serum is really promising, specially those who have oily skin- this will definitely not grease you up, infusing you with anti-aging/anti-oxidant-y ingredients just like a clear gel! The eye cream’s pretty light in texture, and I’m just so excited to use all of these everyday and give you a report on how these fared on my skin.

So far, what works well for me ( oily-skinned me ) are the serum ( oh, I love this! ) and the facial wash – both the one in the tube form and the facial foam 
I’ve passed on to my mom the day creams and night creams, as I am not really a cream-type person when it comes to applying moisturizers. Overall, no reactions on my skin! 
As for making my skin look younger, I have yet to find that product to prove to me that it really IS an anti-aging product – as it would take years to see results. 
I would recommend this for those who would like to take a shot at an instantly illuminating skin care product ( with gold flecks that instantly illuminates your face ) as well as invest in something in the long run. If you’re great with Pond’s products, then this is a great, great product line to try, though some are very very loyal to their Age Miracle ( red ) line
