Maleficent playing her tricks on Princess Aurora

img source:fanpop.com

If you ask me, the most favorite Disney movie that I’ve ever watched in this lifetime would be Sleeping Beauty. Who could ever forget Rose ( Princess Aurora, hiding in such a name as she grew up with her fairy god mothers low-profile , gracefully dancing through the forest with her humming Once Upon a Dream? *sings, I know you, I’ve walked with you once upon a dream…sigh!* Ok, but the witch cast a spell on her when she was a baby, just because she wasn’t invited to Princess Aurora’s first birthday party! I’ve never bothered knowing what her name was, and only found out right now, as MAC equipped me with her name – Maleficent, as I have always called her “witch.” Well, malevolent + magnificent = Maleficent! Very witty, very witty.

Okay, let’s see what Maleficent ( with that, I can never stop saying it now! Maleficent, Maleficent, Maleficent! ) has for our vanity tables!

MAC Mineralized Eyeshadow Duo in My Dark Magic and She Who Dares

Oh, I just love Mineralized Eyeshadow Duos! They give you so much value for your money- just swipe on different places, and you get different colors! I equally love these two as I really love shimmery dark colors – they make the perfect smoky eye colors – not too flat, but very much alive and gives the eyes really all the attention it deserves! My Dark Magic can pull off the perfect purple smoky eye from the darkest shade to the lightest ( you can just swipe, swipe whatever shade you want there, be sure to locate it! ) and She Who Dares can make you execute a great navy blue smoky eye or a dark green one. Totally fantabulous!

MAC lipsticks in Dark Deed and Violetta

Dark Deed on my lips

Dark Deed is that rich, deep burgundy shade that’s really, really mature and dark on the lips. I think this would really give me that evil persona, if I wore this! This shade is not for the faint hearted, and is definitely not for the soft-hearted one!

Violetta on mah lips

Violetta, on the other hand, is a MAC Pro shade that’s been released as part of the collection. It’s that beautiful, vibrant violet shade that I so love! The color is just too beautiful to describe! Thing is, I would not know if I can just wear this on a normal day – it’s too shocking! I am thinking that this would go well with a tamed down goth makeup, or some day wherein I just feel really, really adventurous. This is a beautiful shade that I would not mind experimenting with!

MAC lipglass in Revenge is Sweet and Wrong Spell

Revenge is Sweet is a cute light yellow purple shade that seems like a bubble-gummy shade. I like this as this appears, and looks very youthful on the lips!

Wrong Spell, on the other hand, scares me off a little bit, being deep plum in shade. It can totally work for those who are into dark lips!

Maleficent’s Beauty Powder, Briar Rose, is just so beautiful on the cheeks! It’s a soft pink shade that is influenced by some purple color. I love light wisps of purple on my face. It totally makes me glow. I love this! This is such a must-have for those who love pink blushes!
