MAC Cosmetics Launches First IPAD Application!

MAC_Tartan_design8.2_Page_02

Okay, before I start, try not to get confused with MAC Cosmetics and Mac ( like Apple- Mac. ) hahahaha! I tend to confuse people when I talk about MAC Cosmetics when I just say MAC. They think it’s Apple. But then, I’m talking about them both now! Hahaha!

In the midst of beautiful Apple products roaming out there, with the new Ipads, Macbook Air, and even the Iphone 4 invading my dreams every night as I get confused which one to get, MAC Cosmetics takes a step ahead of me and gives me a quick hint – as MAC Cosmetics launches its first Ipad application, with MAC’s A Tartan Tale Collection.

My Dermatologist is LOVE.

obagithanksshen2

It’s been two years since I met my dermatologist, and I’m about as happy as I can be – skin-wise. Looking at my skin now, it was just a far cry from my problematic skin years ago, when I convinced my mom that I really needed to see a dermatologist. My mom and dad had good skin, so they did not understand my comedone issues, and think that my zits will just go away if I start ignoring them. Good thing I was very assertive – that my skin’s looking better now! I also do not mind the effort, and money spent – my dermatologist’s charges quite reasonably, and the results are more than reasonable! haha!

Makeup Artist Escapades : My Best Friend’s Wedding

Doing bridal makeup for one of my best friends is indeed an honor, and with my utmost joy, I was able to pull it off ( whew! ) despite being all nervous, as I really wanted Maisie to look beautiful during her wedding day!

As promised, here are some nice photos for some show and tell to my readers!

maisiew3

Okay, the first pic was me, hurriedly retouching more lipstick on Maisie as she needed more color on the lips, as per the photographer’s recommendation. I used the lipstick to pack more color on her lips as my lip brush was buried inside my purse already! Oh well, it was her own lipstick anyway, so no issues!

Growing Up With Wacoal, and Snuggling Comfortably in It!

fotothing

img credit : fotothing.com

Ahhh. The body. Something that we obsess about every single day as one of our most-shopped items are clothes, and even accessories that we drape around our clothes to look our best, and choose the right sizes and dress types to be in our best form. But underneath all that lies something far more essential that molds everything outside- lingerie, inner wear, intimate-wear, or inti-mates, as I fondly call them.

They can be basic for those who see lingerie as something they just need to wear everyday, they can be frivolous and flamboyant ( even if hidden underneath! ) for those who want the “inspiration from within” vibe, and some find happiness in them with the style, function, and comfort it provides. For me, it’s a mix of basic, inspiration, and comfort! I love lingerie, and I need those that mold perfectly into my body to be able to move around everyday, with it just like second skin!

What’s New: Pond’s Gold Radiance Line

pondsgold1

When you say gold, you usually equate it to one of the most precious things here on earth – heck, the price of gold in the market is rising as high as ever, just recently ( gold was a really good investment as its price is really high now! ) Gold usually translates to wealth and abundance. How does it translate into skin care, if I may ask?

Well, upon researching about gold and skin care, I’ve learned that gold was used for cancer treatments, and aesthetically, was a good anti-aging ingredient. Gold actually makes key ingredients get absorbed into the skin easily, and reduces oxidation on our skin, almost like an “anti-oxidant”. There are even “24 Karat Gold Facial Treatments” offered by dermatologists for anti-aging! Err that sounds expensive!

Beauty & Minerals At The Karl Edwards Bazaar This Weekend!

Web

I honestly can’t believe that I’m still alive, juggling three jobs this week ( managing my online store, doing makeup for a fashion show, and handling sales for the print business, and going to events this past few weeks – YEAH I MANAGED! ), but really, I NEED to stay alive because it’s hardly November! What’s up with me this weekend? I’m back as a beauty consultant mode for Beauty & Minerals, and we’re camping at the Karl Edwards Bazaar at the NBC Tent, The Fort!

Beautynomics Review : L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Hair Care Line

trs2

Just by taking Anne Curtis as L’Oreal Total Repair 5‘s image model took my breath away. I just believe that she is one of the loveliest faces that grace our TV screen as of late! She is just so classy to look at as well, that makes her fit for a luxurious global brand like L’Oreal!

Swooning aside, I think that the new L’Oreal Total Repair Hair Care Line is one of the best releases that L’Oreal has ever had. Why? Well, the Elseve has fared okay-okay ( always had to compare them to Kerastase, but somewhat just a little bit diluted in formulation, of course with the price! ) , but Total Repair fared out g.r.e.a.t on me. Why? let me list it down :

MAC Venomous Villains Collection Review : Dr. Facilier

d10

The last installment of my MAC Venomous Villains Collection Review is Dr. Facilier. To be totally honest, this is my least favorite character in the collection, because well, I don’t really know him! Googling him gave me the information that he is the voodoo master from The Princess and the Frog. I think that it’s been too long that Disney released this cartoon adaptation of the fairytale-book classic, coz I loved it from my books! So with that, I’ve just lost myself in classic Disney cartoons such as Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and somewhat 101 Dalmatians ( this is relatively new to the former two ). Anyway, on to my review!

MAC Venomous Villains Collection Review : Maleficent

Maleficent playing her tricks on Princess Aurora

img source:fanpop.com

If you ask me, the most favorite Disney movie that I’ve ever watched in this lifetime would be Sleeping Beauty. Who could ever forget Rose ( Princess Aurora, hiding in such a name as she grew up with her fairy god mothers low-profile , gracefully dancing through the forest with her humming Once Upon a Dream? *sings, I know you, I’ve walked with you once upon a dream…sigh!* Ok, but the witch cast a spell on her when she was a baby, just because she wasn’t invited to Princess Aurora’s first birthday party! I’ve never bothered knowing what her name was, and only found out right now, as MAC equipped me with her name – Maleficent, as I have always called her “witch.” Well, malevolent + magnificent = Maleficent! Very witty, very witty.

Okay, let’s see what Maleficent ( with that, I can never stop saying it now! Maleficent, Maleficent, Maleficent! ) has for our vanity tables! Continue reading
