Ok, ok, hold your horses ladies and gentlemen. I haven’t transformed this blog into a food blog. I was just trying to be funny with the “taste test” thing!
But really, do you ever wonder how the new Listerine Vanilla Mint Mouthwash tastes like?
When I got the bottle, the packaging seemed to give me some vibes, and amongst them are :
* I try this, and I get really vanilla-ey breath that my breath smells like vanilla ice cream every single time
* It’s like mouth-perfume, that anyone who catches your breath would definitely smell something apparent – perhaps something sweet
Well, to put my curiosity to rest, I decided to try the Listerine Vanilla Mint Mouthwash for myself!
Ok, getting a capful, and pouring around 1/4 cap of the mouthwash, and diluting it with water, I started gargling. Ahh. minty. dental. clean. Wash off. Okay.
Okay, it seemed like it was good ‘ol mouthwash to me ( whew, nothing candy-ish, I bet my imagination was just too wild hahaha! ) , but regular mouthwash sometimes had harsh outbursts of mints too strong, sometimes not “tasting” too good anymore. This one was very pleasant mint, somewhat strong mint, that definitely left me some minty breath, but there was something light in it. Something different.
It’s been an hour, and I can still feel the mintiness in my mouth, and it’s apparent that it is a light mint. How can mint, classified as light, stay so long in your mouth? Well, that’s the magic of it! It lingers in your mouth, and yet it doesn’t “reinforce” the classic “mouthwashed breath”, and instead, replaces it with something light and pleasant. I could not taste vanilla strongly in this, but perhaps it’s already infused in the mint, with the things I have described. This is my cup of tea. Light, but lingering, but refreshing. I highly recommend this!
So, how about that? Do grab a bottle! Listerine is giving this out at an introductory price of P 47.50 for the 80ml bottle. Try it, and let me know what you think!

I’ll give this a try. I super love vanilla! Oh, I shouldn’t expect a lot of vanilla flavor in it since it’s meant to be minty, right? Hehehe.
haha! yes, still predominantly minty!
