Christine

Last Sunday, I was invited by friends, and my beau for a fun photoshoot. M, knowing that I miss doing makeup, was very supportive, as I was very supportive of him as he has been too busy with work that he has neglected his hobby, which is photography.

R presented me with three beautiful models, that I was happy to stare down, and fantasize about. Oh, don’t get me wrong. I’m all wholesome! Hahaha! Makeup artists fantasize on what looks they can come up with on their subjects for that very gratifying finished product – work captured in photos.

Christine Riley was a breath of fresh air. She had great skin to begin with, and a great smile, as well! She’s very young, but I was amazed with the makeup collection that she brought for the photoshoot – a collection of MAC makeup brushes, and a wide variety of professional and high end makeup brands! Well, girls really start early! Christine is quite a makeup and makeup brush collector, that I had the honor of using her tools, and products for the shoot.

Oh gosh. Just look at her. Doesn’t she look beautiful? The first thing you can see is that her complexion is just flawless. Like porcelain, that it’s hardly human anymore. No, not Photoshop’s trick. Serious. What brought about such perfect finish? Well, to begin with, her complexion’s really poreless and really smooth. As you can see in her before picture, just a quick application of liquid foundation further evened out her complexion, and made it really perfect! I am quite impressed with the Chanel Liquid Foundation and Chanel Pressed Powder that we used on her face. Hmm. Maybe I should explore the brand.

Planning to give her red lips, I made eye makeup just neutral, but tight-lined her almond shaped eyes to define the shape of her eyes. Thin eyeliner was used for her eyes were already big, and her naturally long lashes were just further enhanced with Blinc Kiss Me Mascara. For the lips, I used Revlon Colorburst in Coral, a warm, warm red shade. Revlon Colorburst lipsticks give such beautiful color payoff, apply creamily on the lips, and just keep the lips moisturized. At first look, I knew she was comfortable with pink lipstick for it would naturally look good on her. Applying red was an playful experiment on my part to give her that seductive vibe. Or I just loved Angel Aquino’s red-lipped look in Magkaribal too much. Haha!

Well, I hope you like it! I’m beginning to have a momentum with doing makeovers. I sure hope I can show you more!
