As the hunt for the best eye cream continues, I present to you another promising option – Good Skin Labs’ Eyliplex-2.

The day gel is feels light, indeed, which is just great for day time when you just hate to apply anything creamy on your face. As I applied the day gel under my eyes and on my lids, it gives a slightly cooling effect, and it melts into the skin instantly. I find this very pleasant to the senses. As for the promised tightening and anti-aging effects, one can only hope that as one applies the day gel, that it do its job and keep the skin surrounding the eye area young, soft, and supple. As for the moisture levels, yes, I believe that this gives good moisture to the eye area.

Applying this during night time is quite a unique experience. Before, I’ve gotten quite used to applying creamy undereye products, or very light serums surrounding the eye area, but the night balm is a big thick, draggy, as the consistency is a bit thick. Applying it gives me a sense of security that the drying effects of the a/c would not cause this to evaporate, or it would be quite a good barrier against the aircon’s drying effects ( yes, the aircon dries out the skin! ). With that, all throughout the night, undereyes and lids are ensured moisture, and reparation, with a good day ahead. Moisture level is to the extreme with this night balm, as I would reach for it every night like a blanket – helping me feel secure!
But now girls, let’s all be honest- it’s so hard to find out if eye creams work for us, or not, right? It’s all about taking faith in one product and sticking to it until you see results. Anti-aging effects are never instant – but it’s always good to take some effort for we’d rather hope for the best, rather than regretting that we did not take that extra step. Sometimes, I don’t even bother believing with the promises of reducing undereye darkness, or anti-aging, and for short-run, I am always very particular with how the eye cream moisturizes. Well, that would be a good start, then the long-term effects may follow!
