Boy, this must be one of my favorite collections so far. When I received some items from the latest MAC Collection, namely Pret a Papier, one look at the shades, and bam. I felt that MAC just solidified the orange revolution. This collection will surely make you think twice of getting another pink lipstick again, and would really make you want to try an orange one!
Okay, let’s make a run thru of each of the items I have over here :

The MAC Paintpot in Coral Crepe is an interesting shade of soft coral. As I swiped this on my lids, it was an instant shade on me. I must admit that it looked very nice on my lids that I just wanted to use it as an eyeshadow instead of a base! Maybe swipe over some sheer peach eyeshadow would make a really nice lid color. My verdict? Interesting enough to try, and great for warm skintones.

MAC Sheertone Blush in Garb is described as “light golden suntan.” It would make a great contour shade, but somehow, it turns up slightly orange on me. Verdict? try swiping it on the hollows of your cheeks and see if it deepens, of course, not in an orange shade!

MAC Sheertone Blush in Instant Chic is an instant winner. I am totally in love with this! One swipe comes out perfectly pigmented ( not too much that would scare you off, but will definitely give you that gorgeous peach flush! ) . The color payoff is very nice – sheer mid-tone muted coral, and it gives the cheeks a natural peachy flush. Not too sheer, not too heavy. No shimmer, much the better. Gorgeous. Verdict? Must-get for those who have too much pink blushes already.

MAC Lipglass in Fold and Tuck is a fresh bright coral shade with soft pearl. This is a very, happy , summery shade that one won’t mind wearing everyday. This really looks fresh and happy. This is a coral version of Lychee Luxe. This is very wearable. Verdict? if you’re into lipglosses, get this. Guaranteed joy for you.

Last but not the least ( saving the best for last ) , is my favorite in this collection – the MAC Lipstick in Made to Order. Made to Order is a creamy mid-tone dirty coral in lustre formula, that glides in like butter on the lips. It’s very pigmented, and the color payoff is great. It’s not pale, as it definitely gives you that just-about-right orange lips – coral without being too warm. Call this the orange version of Cosmo – that depth! This is a great, great lipstick to invest on. I love it so much that I have included this in my staple lipsticks! MAC certainly hit it right with two orange lipsticks – with the Spring Colour Forecast’s Fresh Salmon, and now, Pret a Papier’s Made to Order!

So, did you just notice how I am raving about this collection? But why not? It’s a refreshing change from the pinks that I have here, and it looks great and seems forgiving to alot of skintones. I loved the collection so much that after a long day, coming from a beauty event, I just had to take a snapshot of me wearing some shades from Pret a Papier,

Pardon my really tired eyes and messy hair. It’s been a really long day. But I am totally loving my blush in Instant Chic, and my lipstick in Made to Order! The eyeshadow I used was Gazette Grey, also a part of the Pret a Papier Collection, that I am about to suggest, from experience, that dark greys match well with peach/orange/coral shades. Dark greys are great if you’re not into browns, and would want to pass off on black eyeshadow.
Anyway, this collection earns a big thumbs up from me, amongst all the collections of MAC. Consider this one of my favorite collections of the year, so far!
