Boy, this must be one of my favorite collections so far. When I received some items from the latest MAC Collection, namely Pret a Papier, one look at the shades, and bam. I felt that MAC just solidified the orange revolution. This collection will surely make you think twice of getting another pink lipstick again, and would really make you want to try an orange one!
Okay, let’s make a run thru of each of the items I have over here :

When I was still starting with my beauty blogging, a blogger friend dreamed for me and wished me luck, and told me that he wanted me to write a book one day. Well, I don’t know if I’m near that goal, but then, this lovely feature abouTBeautynomics just made me very, very happy.

When I went gaga over MAC Give Me Liberty of London‘s lipsticks, right after roadtesting the very bold Petals and Peacocks, I could not resist, and asked my friend Smile, who resided in Hong Kong to get me two more lipsticks from that certain collection, mainly because I loved the cremesheen and amplified cream formulas. She was able to get me two more – MAC Lipstick in Peachstock, and in Blooming Lovely. I was about to ask her to get me the shade in Ever Hip, but it was too late already. Oh well!

A few weeks ago, I was invited to the awarding ceremony of Glutamax’s The New Me Contest by Nuffnang. With my really well-thought ( and reflected ) The New Me contest entry, I was keeping my fingers crossed, hoping to win the grand prize, which was the Apple Macbook. ( who woudn’t dream of winning this? haha! ). Well, to be honest, I wasn’t expecting so much anymore as I’ve read just about alot of great entries, that I dressed down as casual as I can to keep down the expectation.

Hey guys, and girls!

As you all know, beauty is my life.
I think we were all blessed by God with unique talents, likes, and loves, so unique, that nothing precious in this world would be missed. The gravity of my passion lies in beauty. The reason why I’ve sustained my blog for four years is that I really, really love what I blog about here. I can babble all day about beauty, aesthetics, makeup ( mineral makeup, all the more! ) and beauty products. I just can’t stop talking about it.
But then, there are also avenues in which I’d like to express myself. Call it a chopsuey of ideas. With that, I’ve decided to have a new blog, which talks about fashion, food, books, and just everything I find interesting.
I’d like some link love and support please! I hope that you’d get to enjoy my adventures outside the beautysphere!
…and oh, check out my latest post, the Make Your Own Havaianas 2010 Event!

I was very much intrigued with the sprout of health drinks in the market. I see ampalaya ( bitter gourd ) shakes, barley drinks that my friend Dee‘s mom religiously prepares for her kids in the morning, and the latest recommendation of Dee to me, wheatgrass.
Reading up on wheatgrass piqued my curiosity big time. Wheatgrass happens to be the young grass shoots of wheatberry, that contains high concentrations of chlorophyll, active enzymes, amino acids, vitamins, etc. Wheatgrass has a rich concentration of chlorophyll that gives the body more oxygen, and boasts of so much benefits, according to Fat Free Kitchen,
* Wheatgrass energizes and reduces fatigue.
* It is a appetite suppressant.
* Wheatgrass juice improves metabolism.
* It improves digestion.
* Wheatgrass juice enriches the blood, removes blood disorders, & lowers blood pressure
* Wheatgrass juice is antibacterial and helps cleanse the liver
* It prevents tooth decay
* It is good for skin problems and improves complexion, treats acne, and removes acne scars.
* Wheatgrass juice keeps hair from graying & removes dandruff.
* It boosts the immune system, calms the nervous system and promotes regularity & helps fight constipation.
* The chlorophyll present in wheatgrass will wash drug deposits from the body, neutralize toxins in the body, help purify the liver, and prevent ageing. The chlorophyll also stabilises blood sugar levels.
I’ve also read from various websites that wheatgrass neutralizes body odor, bad breath, regularize bowel movement, and even give an insomniac a good night’s sleep. I’ve also read from various forums that wheatgrass helped alleviate their back pain. Goodness, just too much benefits that it just sounds too good to be true! But with the promising results, I was very much enticed, no, I caved into temptation and tried wheatgrass!
