What a way to start the week – announcing our big winner for our Minute Maid Contest, sending her off to beauty school!
I’m so excited for the winner for I simply enjoyed my experience in makeup school. With my short course in LCI, I had so much fun, and learned the much needed basics. It really helps to have formal training in makeup. You’d get to know which is right, or wrong, and then you can all break the rules once you’ve mastered them.
With my 6 month course in Singapore, on the other hand, it was all about practice and discipline. It took me forever to master eyebrows, and a few crying fits ( I can be so emotional when frustrated LOL ), but that 6 months just proved that practice is important – so I encourage each and everyone to brush up your makeup skills, and practice what you’ve learned – you’ll become rusty, if you don’t! Promise!
