Oh, doesnt the MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga Lipstick look beautiful?
Blue-toned pale pink. One of the most gorgeous nude pinks that I’ve ever seen. Pink nudes are just a sassier variety of the nude lipsticks that go on like pale peach. This one’s perfect for a smoky eye, or heavy eye makeup, but this doesn’t mean that it tones down the entire look. It fails to give way to attention to the eye makeup – it actually earns a second look because of the lips!
Okay, for Beautynomics readers who have requested for looks? I’ve been trying to play with my camera, and I will continue to be doing so. So bear with me , thru thick and thin, the images you are about to see. Haha!
Okay, so I came up with this look just in time for bed. It’s true! Hahaha! I whipped up my MAC Stacked 1! Pigments from the MAC Spring Colour Forecast Collection and played with them, and came up with a smoky eyed look for chinitas. It’s not very visible on cam – bear with me, I shall give you a closer look on my eye makeup look next time ( I hate it that the inner rims of my eyes were so black , and everything was just so smoky that it didn’t show! oh well, try again! ) . I’m telling you that the Stacked 1! Pigments are really worth the purchase. Much, much more than the quads!
As for my sister Nikki who was asking about how the MAC Blush Ombre in Vintage Grape looked on the skin – I used the darker shade to contour, for my face was getting rounder from getting my tummy full from every meal ( my tastebuds and EQ towards food have been so ever demanding lately ), so I opted for a contour. I’ve been using Vintage Grape daily to see how purple blushes fare, and they’re actually nice. Just for fun, I sought a male’s perspective on how it looked on my cheeks – I was actually surprised to hear him say “purple” at first look, and asked him to explain why. He said that it was not distinguish-able, it was sort of pink, purple, and red at the same time. Well, that was interesting! And definitely something interesting to try on our cheeks! Haha!
As for the glossy lip color that I’m sporting, well, it’s the Lady Gaga Lipstick ( but of course! ) I totally love this shade. If you ask me if this can be worn for work, I can say yes, but apply a sheer layer. The beauty of MAC lipsticks in lustre texture is that you can build up on color from sheer to opaque. Persistent me opted to layer and layer until I see something opaque ( and I sometimes wish MAC’s lipsticks are ALL in cremesheen or amplified creme formula ), made my skintone darker with a darker foundation for contrast, and there you go.
How do you like the MAC Viva Glam Lady Gaga lipstick?
