Oh, how Lady Gaga has set the world on fire! Oh wait, which world?
Because she certainly looks someone from outer space as she revealed her nothing less than ordinary ( or normal ) outfit for the Grammy Awards 2010! She certainly looks like (insert planet here) royalty or a (insert planet) moviestar ( think Marilyn Monroe! )
I’m not going to bash Lady Gaga’s look for the Grammys, but instead, rate it as very interesting. At a makeup artist’s point of view, this can pass off for a very nice avant garde look. Bold, overly emphasized dark brows ( I am suspecting they used liquid eyeliner to do this, oh, it doesn’t matter – it’s blaaccck!! ) with a dramatic arch, heavily smudged eyeliners ( in black again! ), plus a Barbie pink lipstick. Pair that up with blonde hair that goes from light, natural blonde to a crazy yellow shade at the ends! Crazy. Definitely turned heads, and grabbed attention, alright! Her look can definitely belong to a MAC Cosmetics campaign.
With all the celebrities gracing the Grammy Awards red carpet with au naturelle or just vampy makeup, Lady Gaga just never settles for blending in. But then, I believe that she has every right to be out of this world. Such outrageous fashion sense and makeup, alongside her fantastic music just keep on drawing fans to her, and even got her to bag Best Dance Recording for Poker Face, and Best Dance Recording for her album Fame for the Grammy Awards this year.
Ooh la, ooh la la! Lady Gaga rocks!
