I know, this is another “it’s a bit late, but…” entry again, as I have just finished clearing my mind from swamploads of work ( just had a refreshing vacation at Boracay! ), and I’m officially back to blogging again, until the Holiday bazaar season swallows me again. Haha!
I am so happy that October was a good month for Beautynomics, as it earned two great features from two great local magazines.
Chalk Magazine’s October 2009 issue features my good friends The Swiper, The Addicted Shen, and moi, showcasing on our beauty blogs Thanks to Michelle Katigbak-Alejandro for the feature!
Also, I was asked to submit a Photo Booth ( MAC ) picture of me for UNO Magazine’s feature on bloggers, October 2009 ish. Little did I know, that other bloggers pulled all stops to submit amazing pictures, whereas I just picked a year-old photo that was me smiling while using my laptop inside my mom’s bathroom post-event! Hahaha! The pic looks sorta dimmy, but well, I am still thankful for I was given that spot in UNO Magazine! Haha! Thanks Jayvee for the feature!
Just a small secret about me – I have dreamed of working for a magazine , and becoming a beauty editor during my younger days, but alas, work responsibilities didn’t allow me to do so. But you know, Beautynomics.com can be considered my own magazine, as I publish my own content, and I’m just very much happy with it. *smiles* So I’m not all sad, I’ve actually fulfilled my dream, just in another way.
