I’ll let you in a secret – all this obsession with beauty products, and makeup? I got it from my mom.
My mom once owned a salon in the Binondo area when I was still very, very young, and I remember having my bangs permed at such an early age! Haha! But she tells me that she’s always been praised for her eye makeup, and her using eye-tape ( which I only learned how to correctly use during makeup school ) as she loves doing her eyes before going to work. Needless to say, she’s my inspiration.
I really don’t know how I got the Ponds Age Miracle Tinted Moisturizer in my loads of stuff – maybe a friend gave it to me, but it was my mom who first spotted it and kept it for herself. Haha! And of course, I’m more than okay to share.
And as she used the tinted moisturizer, day by day, she would tell me how much she loves it. I could see that her skin tone’s more even with this, and it’s liquid foundation, that’s very very very sheer ( hence, being called tinted moisturizer). As her skin is a little bit dry, the moisturizer component in this product softened the dry skin, softened fine lines, and made her look polished, and fresh! So when she finished one tube, she asked me to buy her another tube, I said yes, but since I couldn’t go to the mall because I was stuck in the office, I lent her my liquid foundation from a very good brand that’s well known to be a moisturizing foundation for mature skin. Turns out, she didn’t even get to like that foundation, that I think I even had shipped from the U.S., and wanted Ponds! So there, I gave her 2 tubes last week and she’s so much contented now with her holy grail everyday foundation.
I got to try it out for myself, and yes, I was able to see that it evens out the skin tone, and it gives a sheer layer of color that makes your skin look bare, but beautiful. With my oily skin, it oiled up on me after a few hours.
To sum up, Ponds Age Miracle Tinted Moisturizer is perfect for those who have normal, or dry skin. For normal, it just polishes your look, and gives you that added layer of confidence for the day. For dry or mature skin, it gives you that skin-softening effect and evens out your skin tone as well. For oily skin, I don’t know if it defeats the purpose of just applying moisturizer with color, but set with oil control powder, that’s translucent in color. It’s a great everyday semi-foundation just when you don’t like applying much makeup. This is actually a good buy for around 400 php+, as it really gives you that beautiful, improved complexion as soon as you apply it!

this is a good review! unfortunately this wouldn’t suit my combination skin…but for those who love this products, better hoard now because pond’s is giving 70% off all(?) it’s products… yey!
