Hi everyone!

First things first – I.am.back!!! For good! I just arrived in Manila two days ago ( that’s a Sunday ) , and I couldn’t be happier. I absolutely loved, and will always cherish my 6 month stay in Singapore, with all the techniques I’ve learned, all the friends I’ve earned ( and reconnected with ) , all the new things I’ve experienced, but nothing feels like home – and I know now that Manila is where I belong to.

Needless to say – it’s absolutely GREAT to be back! I am thrilled, and excited to see my friends once more, and blog about Manila’s beauty scene, and blog about more beauty products!

Okay, so I’ll let you in a secret of mine – I’m a little bit sad, (well, about to me more sad ), because weeks prior to my leaving Singapore, my favorite beauty product left me as well. My bottle of MaMa Lotion, my ever reliable skin care product that I apply every night for microexfoliation and prevention of acne, oily skin, and a good pore refiner, has disappeared. Blame it on my short term memory loss, wherein I always forget where I put stuff, I have turned my flat upside down, and it’s still gone. Sigh. So there, it’s been two weeks since my skin hasn’t had its nightly MaMa Lotion lovin`, and my skin has gone back into being oily, and I see whiteheads on my pores. I just know, that I need a bottle of MaMa Lotion soon, so I began searching for good deals in the internet.

Turns out, MaMa Lotion has been rebranded! According to MCK Laboratories, makers of MaMa Lotion,

MaMa Lotion made its public launch over ten years ago and created an instant splash with its unparalleled, instant results. We soon realized there was some confusion caused by its name, causing a few to mistake our product for a pregnancy moisturizer when in fact the name MaMa is an abbreviation for its primary ingredients, Mandelic Acid and Malic Acid. We believe that the M2 HP Skin Refinish name more accurately reflects the product´s true purpose.

Aside from that, the newly rebranded MaMa Lotion, now M2 HP Skin Refinish, is now devoid of such controversial ingredients such as polyacrylamade, parabens, and fragrance, and has new anti-irritation technologies that is more skin friendly even to sensitive skin!

AND. AND AND AND! One more thing that I am most happy about? They added just about my favorite ingredient in the world ( skin-care wise, rosemary’s my favorite cooking-wise! hahaha! ), hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid will definitely ensure that skin is hydrated even if it is microexfoliated at night. I still remember my skin sometimes having flakes because of my aggressive application of MaMa Lotion, but with hyaluronic acid in its formula, there’s a lesser chance of skin flaking, and a higher probability of a more invisible micropeeling, in such a way that peeling is not noticeable – you just wake up to fresh, new skin everyday. That sounds absolutely wonderful!

So there, even if M2 HP Skin Refinish is a bit hard to remember, I’ll really really try to do so because I need a bottle of this soon to revive my skin in top shape again! I’m getting one soon! So, for everyone who have MaMa Lotion in their skin care regimens, better not stock up, and just get the newly rebranded one!

Hi! Nice reviews—haha last time I visited my derma, she recommended MaMa… which cost around 4500!? Whew… though to my research I can see it only cost for 3200… huge difference eh? Anyhow and her assistant gave me a MaMa Lotion sample.

Uhm I was advise to use it every other day for 2 weeks. It’s my first day to use it today—err I guess I made a mistake, applied it over my morning routine, (sigh) however based on my research I think ideally should be a evening routine.

Whoa… I would just like to ask if you know someone who sells this product? It’ll be a great help though am not sure if this is appropriate to do so?

    Thanks!

    :D

Hi Cinammongirl! well, my derma sells it for 3,500.00. if you are interested, i can help you out. i just dont know if theyre selling it like that still.

i think it should be a nightly routine because it’s acids, the reaction might not be as good, or be harmful to the skin when exposed to the sun.
