Just tell me, what are dreams made of?
At the end of every exhausting day, may it be from school, work, or play, I think everyone’s wish is to have a blissful sleep to prepare themselves for another bright, and happy day. Sleep is considered a luxury nowadays, as some people don’t get enough sleep, can’t sleep, or can’t sleep well.
I consider my bed as my ultimate favorite spot on earth. It’s where I rest my body, mind, and soul, as I say goodbye to every good or bad day, recharging, looking forward to another day. It is where I surrender and close my eyes. It is my sanctuary, and my happy place. During rainy days, I’d love to stay in bed all day and just be all comfortable and lazy.
While I was packing for my Singapore stay a few months ago, I was getting worried because I, for sure, will be missing my bed, and will be sleeping somewhere foreign , not being sure if I will be comfortable or not. I remember way before, whenever I sleep in someone else’s house, I just could not sleep comfortably as it were not my bed.
While preparing for my Singapore stay, I got myself products that would help me sleep. Being a huge, huge fan of Earth Therapeutics that smelled heavenly, and definitely helped me de-stress, I got myself two products – Elixir of Dreams Pillow Mist, and Dream Zone Comfort Cream.
Elixir of Dreams Pillow Mist is a pillow mist, very much like the Anti-Stress Pillow Mist. They even smell the same! It has two key ingredients – lavender, that soothes and relaxes, and valerian, that calms and comforts. It promises to give some soothing and calming air to the room, and to your senses as it facilitates blissful sleep. During day 1, I tried spraying it and sharing it with my flatmates. On day two, one of my flatmates smsed me while she was at work, and told me that her sleep, and dreams were never better ( because her sleep before used to be like she would wake up every now and then ) , and she wanted Elixir of Dreams to be sprayed on her pillow every night! She claimed that her sleep was so much better. Another flatmate also followed and claimed the same thing. I myself could sleep so much better. I wouldn’t say that my sleep is as perfect as while I was in Manila, but it definitely helped me feel at home here, and sleep quite comfortably.
We were actually debating on whether it was psychological, or not. As a strong believer of aromatherapy, I told them that the spray must be helping them relax their minds from the very soothing scents of lavender and valerian root. This must be the best-smelling scent on earth, that is very much fitting in the bedroom. It’s definitely sleep-inducing. Haha! We concluded that whether it was psychological or it really worked, we wanted it in our every night’s ritual before sleeping – spraying this!

The Dream Zone Comfort Cream is a light lotion that smells just like the Elixir of Dreams – in other words, equally heavenly. It’s perhaps the best smelling lotion that I’ve ever tried, and as a lotion phobic person that I am, the scent really takes me away from that phobia as I find every excuse every night to apply it on my dry hands ( well, I handwash my clothes! ). The moisturizing factor remains to be seen, for I have not been using it consistently, but it’s a clear winner for me just because of that scent. Surely, if you apply this on your legs, your hands, and your arms, you will have a clear, relaxed mind by the end of your application because of the scent, that will help you travel successfully to dreamland.
Wonderful dreams are just magical. Elixir of Dreams weaves such magic that just keeps a smile on our face as we drift into dreamworld.
