In all the collections of MAC Cosmetics, I think MAC Hello Kitty is one collection that I’m determined to collect, given that I have unlimited resources and that includes cash! Haha! For now, I have these MAC Hello Kitty babies, and I am anticipating March 6, for MAC Cosmetics Vivo City will be having the MAC Hello Kitty Collection for sale on that date. They have displayed the collection last weekend, and I almost fainted when I saw the adorable stuffed toy that I’m determined to get, for sure!
Anyway, here’s what I have so far :
I’d be totally honest with you to tell you that the first thing that got me is the packaging. Black packaging with the very very cute black Hello Kitty! I don’t even know if I want to finish these babies, or maybe, if I get to finish using them, I would definitely be keeping the packaging. They’re just so beautiful!
The MAC Hello Kitty Eyeshadow Quad in Lucky Tom is a very versatile quad. You can use it for an everyday look – ( I’m reviewing from left to right ) Creme Royal is a good base and highlighter, and Paradisco ( F ) is a good wash, even though it’s orange, it still goes well on the eyes, as I applied it on my lids, it just gave my eyes some sort of warmth that is a great substitute and less intimidating shade for gold. Smoky eyes can also be achieved thru Stylin, a purplish shade, and make it darker with Lucky Tom, a black with microglitters. This is a great, versatile palette that can be brought along for a nice day look, and a sizzling night look.
The MAC Hello Kitty Beauty Powder Blush in Fun & Games gives a very youthful, peachy cheeks. It’s sheer enough that you won’t look too overdone in the blush department, and I just love on how it screams youthful and fresh!
These very yummy lipsticks have Hello Kitty logos engraved on the lippies themselves. They’re tempting me not to use them to that part! Hahaha!
Strayin` ( left ) is a very bold, and crayon-pink that also screams youth and fun. This is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Fashion Mews ( right ) , on the other hand, is a fabulous nude pink in frost texture that is perfect to pair with smoky eyes. These two lipsticks definitely would make a bold statement, for sure.
The MAC Hello Kitty lipglass in Fast Friends is a bright, purplish shade of gloss that would surely add a beautiful glossy purple ( though not opaque ) hue that would add shine to pink based or purple based lipsticks.
The MAC Hello Kitty nail polish in On The Prowl is a very trendy gray shade ( gray shades for nails are so in right now ) that is somewhat casual, but a very dainty color.
I’m still waiting for the 6th of March to get the other MAC Hello Kitty eyeshadow quad, that really nice stuffed toy, and check out its lip shades, and false eyelashes. At this moment, I just wished that time would fly faster for me to get my hands on them! Oh yay!!! I just LOVE this collection! Makes me feel like my old Hello Kitty fanatic days again. I feel like a little girl again. *smiles*
