I was just walking around Parkway Parade Mall in the East Coast area of Singapore, just window shopping and not planning on buying anything except for that lovely Giant supermarket at the top floor. I was helping my friend Dee check out BB creams, and as we walked in The Face Shop to check their BB Cream, I was browsing through products, and this box caught my eye :

Hyaluronic Acid. Do you know that anything with hyaluronic acid catches my eye? I literally stopped, and took a good look at it. I feel that it is the wonder ingredient in beauty products that helps skin retain moisture, and regain and maintain youth.

The Face Shop Essential Source 100′s Hyaluronic Acid has this information at the back of the box,

Super hydrating essence with high polymer Hyaluronic Acid adjusts the skin’s moisture level to quench thirsty dry skin and keeps it smooth for hours with long lasting hydration. The addtion of Moist-24 Complex forms a moisturizing layer on the skin surface for further moisturization and deep hydration

I immediately grabbed one bottle, bought it, and took it home. One thing I love about hyaluronic acid products like this ( and Nu Skin’s moisture mist ) is that they are able to be mixed into products that are non-cream, or fluid in texture ( except for L’Oreal’s Dermo-Genesis that has cream-based products ). This one’s just like serum form that does not make you feel icky wherever you want to apply it on. I’m just not so sure that this is purely hyaluronic acid because of the many ingredients that are on the back of the box, including denatured alcohol, glycerin, hydrogenated castor oil, among others.

Right now, I am applying this on my face after toner, as well as on my hands because my hands are harassed with detergents, so I am hoping that this product would earn a rave from me a month after I write this entry. I’m very optimistic, but let’s see!

I dropped by TFS a few days ago, but didn’t see this (I suppose I was bent on looking for the primer, that’s why). I should go back again ang look for this! I might just apply it on my legs :) )

Hi! Updating – I don’t like it. :( No significant difference so, it’s not worth the money :(
