Elizabeth Arden fragrances, have always have one impression in my mind throughout the years – and well, I describe their fragrances as timeless, classy, and feminine. My Elizabeth Arden Green Tea is my first perfume to be used up to its last spritz, and I hardly finish up a bottle of perfume.
Now, Elizabeth Arden has come up with a new fragrance, called Pretty.
For reference for the fragrance critics out there, top notes include Italian Mandarin Orpur, Orange Blossom, and Peach Nectar. Middle notes include Petalia, Star Jasmine, Pink Iris, and White Poeny. Drydown scents include Fluffy Musk, Jacaranda Wood, and Creamy Amber.
Petalia, the exclusive Givaudian molecule used for formulating Pretty, has never been used in product development, is very unique, and well, without me actually knowing alot about fragrance, I got to appreciate it because it is one floral fragrance that I truly appreciated.
What I love about it? First, it has no gardenia. No potential headache for me. ( gardenia is one flower that my nose cannot stand, but it’s a personal preference. Alot of people are smitten with the scent of gardenia ). Second, the floral scent makes me so dizzy with delight. The fragrance doesn’t scream, instead, it lulls my olfactory senses with the key words, “feminine, “classy,” and “fun.” I feel so poised, and lovely wearing this perfume. In fact, this is the scent that I’ve been using lately when I go to school, dinner outs, and even shopping.
I feel so much better wearing fragrances, from a friend’s influence, as she says, ” fragrance is the best accessory ( quoting from Chanel ), as people sometimes will associate smell to someone.” She also tells me that people might forget how you look, but will never forget how you smell, it is the one that lingers in memory.”
So, do I feel pretty by wearing Elizabeth Arden’s Pretty fragrance? I would have to say, with the way I am wearing it everyday, I definitely feel lovely wearing it. Girls who love mild, floral scents would definitely love this. Inspires me to wear a dress, smile alot, and just feel confident about myself.

I just bought this and within the first day of wearing at least 3 people told me I smelled pretty…I kid you not!!!
My BF bought me this for Valentine’s day – I LOVE it. Seriously, it smells sooo good and has a really nice floral scent that isn’t too heavy – so I can wear it everyday!
