To tell you the truth, I hardly get makeup as gifts because my friends feel that I have too much already ( still, not true! haha! ) . Sometimes, they ask me in specific what makeup product I want to ensure that I don’t have that in my vanity kit already, or maybe I won’t like their gifts, but the more audacious ones in surprising me are my beauty blogging girlfriends. Say, my favorite gal pal, Phoebe!

Take a look of my early Christmas gift from her. I love it I love it I love it!

I’ve got a Shu Uemura Velvet Matte Loose Powder in Colorless, a Silk Naturals duo fibre eye blending brush, and a set of Aromaleigh Pure Drama Eyeliner samples! Ooh, I’m feeling the love!

Ever since Phoebe let me try Shu Uemura’s Velvet Matte Loose Powder, I’ve fallen in love with it. Fine, it ALMOST answered my prayers for my oily skin, and it’s impressive enough that I’ve seen that it tried, but the thing is, this is SO photogenic that it looks fabulous on photos, that I gotta have this. Fairy godmother Phoebs gave me a smaller pot than the eternally huge 30g pot, that I still don’t know how I can finish because it’s alot!

The Silk Naturals Duo Fibre Eye brush seems to be promising as it can blend very lightly, and you don’t have to worry about your hands exerting too much pressure that it’d deposit product. I’m so excited to try this! The Pure Drama mineral eyeliners from Aromaleigh will surely spice up my Christmas holidays as I feast in shimmery, and sparkly eye makeup, liner included!
