My Holiday Visit To My Dermatologist, MaMa Lotion, and PCA Skin Peels

I know, I know, I promised to take care of my skin by visiting my dermatologist every month, but with my monstrous schedule during the ber months, it was close to impossible. I’ve been in total agony as I could feel my skin needing that much-needed TLC and cleaning from Dr. Marledi Dizon, but I just couldn’t because I was literally not sleeping from working this Holiday Season.

One thing that helped me through was MaMa Lotion. Remember me raving about it? It’s a micropeeling solution that’s sort of a DIY home peeling lotion, that in my definition, prevents dull skin cells from building up, hence, prevents breakouts from happening. MaMa Lotion definitely, definitely saved my skin from too much dull skin cell buildup-torture, and I was so glad that my breakouts were minimized drastically by using this every other day! After a few months, I finally saw the results from it – absolutely amazing.

Merry Christmas From Juliet and Beautynomics!

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas!

As everyone’s preoccupied with their Christmas Eve preparations, last minute shopping, Juliet, my main inspiration for this blog is gracing you with a last minute Holiday beauty tip…

Rest. Beauty rest! I was chuckling as I saw her sporting this relaxing eye mask, as I asked her what it was for. She told me that since her grueling exams were over, her eyes needed some TLC, and it’s just been so funny seeing her wearing it!

A Very Beautiful Christmas Loot!

First of all, I LOVE, LOVE Christmastime. What’s not to love?

The air’s all chilly, the ambience is wonderful – full of smiling, and thoughtful people whose minds are just all for giving and making their beloved and other people happy. Tis a season of joy, after all!

Here’s what I got last Sunday, from my fairy god mothers! ( or, Santa babies! haha! )

I got a Yoko Body Shimmer with puff and an Ellana Lipcolor from Shen. I love how cute the puff is, it’s just so adorable that I’d be using this only for ME! ( Although she suggested I use this on shoots, haha! ). Ellana lipcolors are quite a revelation for me – they’re really gorgeous! Our Beauty & Minerals Booth last Mineral Makeup Weekend was placed beside the Ellana Booth and my lip brush was all harassed as I tried and went in a buying frenzy over their lipcolors! They’re very affordable, and they perform very well, well enough for everyday, lazy uses! A cute, small lipgloss over there in the picture is something that I haven’t checked out, but will do, maybe later, for it’s my last day of work for the year today! ( Whoopee! )

Manila’s Hottest Mineral Makeup Weekend, on Dec. 20 and 21!

From the huge success of Manila’s Mineral Makeup Weekend last year, we’re definitely bringing it back! It’d be so exciting to see mineral makeup addicts drag along their friends and introduce them into mineral makeup. Mineral makeup is such a wonderful thing to share because it’s absolutely safe for everyday use, it’s beneficial to the skin, and it’s not too expensive as well! Most of all, it brings forth better looking skin without looking like makeup at all, that further boosts self confidence that I embrace it with all my heart for it changed my life, first and foremost. I began to love me when I started using mineral makeup. *wink*

Anyway, for details, my lovelies, read on!

What’s New : Chapstick True Shimmer Lipbalm

Oh, for some really happy news this morning!

For some reason, I’ve found Chapstick to be sort of “medicinal” rather than for the vanity because Chapstick heals chapped lips, alright, but it doesnt give a trace of color, whatsoever, at most, an unnoticeable tint. Right now, Chapstick is definitely one with the Holidays as it launches Chapstick True Shimmer!

This season’s newest addition to ChapStick® lip balm*, ChapStick® True Shimmer™ offers the moisturizing benefits of a lip balm with the added bonus of a subtle, radiant shine, providing just the right accent for your lips on any occasion.

Clairol Perfect 10 Wins My Heart, and Allure’s

First things first, let me just say that aside from professional hair colouring treatments at the salon, the only brand that I trust with my hair with DIY at home hair colouring is Clairol - specifically, Clairol Perfect 10. It colors my hair, and covers my gray within 10 minutes. Yes, 10 minutes! One time, I left it for around 30 minutes, and it was bleached too light already! On my second try ( which is now ), I am so loving my new color – a Light Golden Brown shade. It also helps to keep the gloss conditioner with it because it really does preserve the “newly coloured glossy spendor ” of the hair. Not to mention? The smell’s not as foul as normal hair colouring products! This actually smells nice!

An Early Christmas Loot!

To tell you the truth, I hardly get makeup as gifts because my friends feel that I have too much already ( still, not true! haha! ) . Sometimes, they ask me in specific what makeup product I want to ensure that I don’t have that in my vanity kit already, or maybe I won’t like their gifts, but the more audacious ones in surprising me are my beauty blogging girlfriends. Say, my favorite gal pal, Phoebe!

Take a look of my early Christmas gift from her. I love it I love it I love it!

Emergency Drugstore Beauty Haul

First of all, apologies my dear readers for being out of circuit for the past few days. I’ve been dead exhausted from the bazaars that I’ve joined, specially with the three-day Saint James Bazaar weekend last week. I’m still recuperating my strength, and I’ve been feeling sleepy and out of energy for the past few days. But hey, I’m alive, I’m alive!

Last weekend was one of those challenging weekends for me, as my partner and I headed south to participate in the Saint James Bazaar for three days! Good thing that we had friends over there that could accommodate us, that we didn’t need to travel back and forth. In other words, we were southern belles for that weekend!

Believe me when I say that I wasn’t hallucinating when I said that I packed really well. Really, really well! But then, as I opened my bag, I realized that I left some of my beauty essentials in my bathroom sink! And that included my precious PCA Facial Wash, MAMA Lotion, Glytone Toner, and PCA Skin Hydrator SPF 25! Que horror!
